Or can we get rid of it... I personally am not a huge fan of it.... was wondering if every male BW will have it or if we can alter facial hair. Anyone know?

Why get rid of it? You can like, get on the boat from Marienburg to Nuln, down the river, and be like.....

Where can you find pleasure, search the world for treasure... learn science technology!?

In the Navy!!

See? damn man, that's the Village People, Warhammer Style!!

Big curly mustaches is a big part of the German-esque Imperial scenery, so if you don't like it then good luck playing Empire. But no, we don't know, but assuming customization will be a big part of the game, maybe.

Also, change your bloody regiment, lest you wanna be dead in my sights..... literally.

What? my regiment happens to be real. click on it, see where it leads. It leads to the inside of your mind...

<-- My avatar dont have one so it might be a "clean shaved" option. Atleast there is some art that dont have it.

I personally hate moustaches. used to have one but then I had a cold

Heh, I didn't notice.if you only see the head it looks like a young male. (they cut it before the curves)

But to add to the cliché: "Males play female to have something nice to look at and not wear a furry beard when they play"

Handle bar mustaches are required. How else are you to give mustache rides to all the ladies?

Heheh... This has certainly been an... interesting thread :D

To actually answer the OP's question though; no, the moustache isn't required. Actually, if you look at some of the other Bright Wizard concept art (including my own avatar), you can see a more normal beard, and I'm sure clean-shaven will be an option.

The mustache is an optional feature I guess.

Thyrus Gormann (Leader of the Bright Order) doesn't have a mustache, but he does have a nice fiery beard.

If clean-shaven or something goatee-esque aren't options, I'll probably have to give this class a miss :p Or at least roll a female toon. Stupid I know, but big beards just don't work for me.

No you won't! Trust me, mustaches won't be the ONLY facial feat on Bright Wizards.

Unlike with the WP, there isn't a required hairstyle. If you look at the concept art for the Bright Wizard, you'll see a variety of facial hairstyles.

I know, I can't imagine it's a requirement, I'm just giving a hypothetical 'if'. :p

To say a Bright Wizard to not have facial hair is like saying a Witch Hunter shouldn't have a hat! Or a magus shouldn't be on a disc! Blasphemy!

hmm for precaution i would say bright wizards shouldnt really have a mustache tis be a shame if it was to light on fire they wouldnt be able to admire themselves in the mirror then. Also no one touches the witch hunter pimp hat!..or we just go buy another

The way I see it, you start out clean shaven. As you gain in levels, your mustache grows! Much like dwaf beards! :D Just kidding, but this would be awesome!!!!

Judging from the Tier concept art, your growth is indicated by a few things: one, your hair starts looking flame-shaped, two, you develop bigger tatoos that aren't tatoos, three, your hands are permanently on FIRE!

It's not a pimp hat, nor is anyone going to dare to be so foolish as the confuse it with one. It is a capotain.

I really do look forward to playing with bright wizards who got my back, should be a dpsin' good time!

Hard to telll in all the fuzz. It looks like a tier one WP. However, I noticed the fiery hair, so yeah it is a Bright Wizard, and apperantly, it has no mustache.

Paul's a busy man and can't be expected to remember what every class is called. That's for us obsessive nerds.

I very much doubt that all Bright Wizards have to wear moustaches. The just-got-struck-by-lightning hairdo though, that's mandatory.

Garthilk

Actually,

If you listen, Paul says. Oh it's Bright Wizard armor. Then he says, no, it's special armor. My guess looks like Warrior Priest armor to me.

Bright Wizard encased in WP armor? Gimme a break........that is soooooo Early April Fools Day!

But as far as facial hair goes, I expect BW'rds to have anything from big flaming mustaches to long flaming goatees or fiery beards and such...

Have you guys not seen Jack's Comic!?

SLM says that all Witch Hunters track down the SLaanesh babes and sell them of to Pious Priests of Sigmar.

But i must say, i feel like a little bit of a gimp having a massive moustache on me all the time, but i think i would play BW if Chaos Magus wasn't so appealing, know what i mean? Come on! Discs FTW!

Bright Wizards aren't all about mustaches and fiery hair.
They are about flaming tattoos , scorched skin , smoking hands , burning eyes and other "flaming delicatessen".

Actually, Paul stated they are a sign of progression for the Witch Hunter, the way size is a sign of progression for orcs.

Sorry, I was referring to the mustache bit, not the hat thing. I should have been clearer.

And where did he say that? Just curious.

Well, all gear is going to be a sign of progression, and the hat is the one of the most notable pieces on the Witch Hunter, so it's a fair bet that the hat will reflect the level.

That said (maybe I've just been spoiled by EQ2 on this, don't know how many other MMOs have it), I wouldn't be terriblly surprised to see some short of /showhelm command to toggle helmet/hat graphics, and maybe commands for other armor pieces.

Oh man, that would be too funny. No no, I think the Witchhunters hat should get more...decorated or something, not grow in size! I mean comeon, imagine that...a level 40 Witchhunter with a HUGE HAT on the battlefield

Back on topic though, I reckon us Wizards will get the best progression effects, I mean we are all about fire, so once we hit the top levels we're gonna be all like...BOOM!..and stuff. Maybe Chaos would get some cool Chaos-like cloud or something following them, but we actually set ourselves on fire and leave burning footprints and charred Orcs in our path :D
