Best way to lvl talismans to 50?

Hello; I just specced salvaging/talisman, and i got stucked at 37~ with talisman. I got no lvl 25 fragments, and almost no lvl 25 curios. I read somewhere else in this forums that you need 3/5 lvl25 items in order to get a skillup. Does the renown vendor salvaging give lvl 25 fragments? What's the best way to get to 50 talisman? any tip? thank you in advice

I was stuck like you at 39, but kept wasting materials till I got to 41. At that point, I just grabbed all my 50 skill materials (enough for 40 talismans or so, including a few green/blue lvl. 50 curios bought from auction house) and ran to a battlefield objective with the artisan's gift buff. Now I'm sitting at 71, stockpiling enough materials to get to 100 with the buff again.

would like to know about this buff you speak of also. I'm currently level 39 and stuck at the moment also. Getting very frustated wasting so much money on the early levels of talisman making.

I made an alt that has butchery and can get skill 25 curios fairly often off either players or mobs. Doing some of the PQ's is a very easy way to get to use butchery as well. Especially when it's a stage 1 with xx/100 mobs to kill. Also i seems to get purple curios off of hero's with butchery.

I just got my Talisman skill up to 50. I kept buying tier 1 renown gear and breaking it down.

using a level 25 fragment with a level 25 magic essence and a level 1 gold essence and a level 1 curio seemed to work best. The 25 fragment and magic essences would come from buying the most expenses tier 1 reknown gear

Look for battlefield objectives in RvR areas, there should be one called Artisan's Gift. Right click the sergeant for a 30 min +10 to all tradeskills buff.
