Gold essence ..help me out plz

Hi all Im from Ulthuan server. Im crafting talismans and have a really tough time at lvl 40 finding gold essence. I got all other ingridients at lvl 25 and just can't cut it with gold core lvl1. I know Apo crafters do gold essence so Im posting in apo forum. My question is 1)is it high lvl ingridient(gold essence)and so early into the game crafters are simply not high enough lvl to make it? 2)does it require expensive items (old dust, gold weed silver(smth), and condencer ?3)is it such a valuable ingridient that apo crafters prefer to give it to their friends? I cant seem to find it on an AH either.

I suspect the reason your not seeing it more is because to make it we need Gold Dust.This is gathered as a drop or through scavenger, which I didn't bother to take so I could cultivate instead to get the herbs I need.I'd guess most apoths to cultivate as it just pairs the best for us.

well Ill take it with scavengers then. But another quick question: are there levels of gold essence like curios, seeds etc 25 50 75 100?

Yes there are.

I have only seen a few of them, but there are definately difference levels of gold essence.

The chain starts with goldweed seeds, which come in different varieties (common, uncommon) and different skill levels. Even without scavenging, you can find some seeds, but with scavenging you can obtain more.

Then a cultivator needs to refine the goldweed seeds into goldweed

Then an Apothecary needs to combine the goldweed with a container, quicksilver and some gold dust. The container and quicksilver can be purchased at skill level 1 and I have never seen anything above that skill level. The gold dust is found through scavenging, and like gold weed comes in different rarities and skill levels. I do not know what would happen if for instance uncommon gold weed skill 25 was processed along with common skill level 1 gold dust.

So, you are reliant upon two types of drops which scavengers will get the most if not exclusively, then refining by a cultivator, then processing by an Apothecary. Good luck!

As an apothecary crafter, I've got a bunch of gold dust that I've saved up but I never find goldweed as a drop and only rarely/expensively on the AH, so I haven't crafted much essence yet.

You can only get goldweave from cultivators. Make friends with one. :)

I think gold essense is a critical succsess from making gold cores ! I have only made i once so good luck finding it.
