KoBS = Tanker
Bright Wizard = Ranged DPS
Warrior Priest = Healer/Support...

So Witchhunter = Melee DPS?

I wonder if their gun abilities will typically be medium/point blank range attacks. *shrugs*

Most likely, yes.

For some reason their fighting style is making me thing the good ol' buccuneers of the old days, having swords, but quite often using their guns point blank to guarantee a hit and kill... though I imagine their sword fighting style would be a bit more refined.

Well, according to the Witch Hunter's Handbook, sword training tends to be rather eclectic and utilitarian. Apprentice Witch Hunters learn how to use a variety of blades - daggers, cutlasses, longswords, swords, two-handed swords, and the rapier - presumably so that they would be able to use any blade at hand and use it well.

Training begins with drilling on the three basic strokes - the cut (for edged, cutting swords), the strike (with the flat, meant to subdue suspects alive so as to extract information in interrogation), and the thrust (stabbing). Once the student has mastered those three skills, they then are trained in the higher arts of fencing, and the school known as the Circle of Defense, a common and effective fighting style where the combatant presents himself in profile as opposed to facing and where the trainee is taught to visualize the effective reach of his and his opponent's blade and to take advantage of even an inch of advantage.

Naturally, Witch Hunters train with live steel, and clumsy students don't survive to fall in battle. Beyond blades, Witch Hunters train extensively with pistols (long firearms are occasionally used but are viewed as being too bulky and visible for the kind of subtle, close-in work that is the Witch Hunter's forte), and have access to the best in modern firearms - including unorthodox weapons such as the dagger-pistol and the axe-pistol.

Basically, I shoot you full of lead with my flintlocks, and then if you happen to reach me...I shove my rapier through you neck. Proceeding to cut off your head, fix it to a spike and the best part is.....all this in the name of Sigmar!!! :mrgreen:

Somehow I doubt Witchhunters will have too many ranged abilities... maybe SLIGHTLY more ranged then most melee DPS, but....

Sorry, I didn't want to give the impression of a ranged DPS class, but I'm sure those flintlocks aren't just for looks!
