Salvaging Fragments..?

Exactly what do you have to salvage to get a Fragment??

I have been wasting money on some renown gear in attempts to get a few fragments once salvaged. From boots and gloves I'm only getting magical essence. How do you salvage for fragments?

This skill group is severly lacking IMO!

You've just been unlucky, I guess. Every "successful" Salvage of an item equals a Fragment. If you "fail" you still get Essences. Of course, the chance of success is based on your skill level compared to the item's level. The higher your skill and the lower the item, the better your chances.

And I really don mean it when I say you're unlucky. I only failed once during my first dozen Salvage attempts.
