Can't mail certain armor to salvaging char.

So I have split up the crafting jobs within my characters. One character has the magical salvaging skill. When I go to send green/blue armor to this character, certain pieces (really like 75% of them) cannot be mailed and give me an error when I go to put them in the slot to mail the item.

Why can't I mail them? I put this here because most likely other salvagers have experienced the same problem.

Maybe because you wore the equipment and it is bounded to your character.

Would that be the only time they can't be mailed? I know for certain that I did not wear some of the armor. Some of the armor I got from PQs and some of it I got from Influence rewards.

I don't like it if that is how it works. They are useless items as long as they are on my one character. I sell them for the low amount of money they are worth and my other character's salvaging skill doesn't gain anything from me selling them.

PQ and influence rewards bind to your character. When you pick up the bag it asks wether you are ok with it binding with you (or it tells you it will, i havent actually read it for ages).
