Sundered Equipment?

I have 3 pieces of sundered equipment in my bag, and its been there since i was level 2 salvaging... i am now level 10 and still cannot salvage it, any idea as to the skill req for it?

I have 2 pieces of Sundered Equipment in my bag...and I am lvl 17 in Magical Salvaging and still cannot salvage them. Anyone know what lvl you have to be?

I don't remember exactly what level, but I had to be 40 or 50 to salvage it (I could salvage items with a rank req of 17 before i could salvage those)

I began being able to "try" and salvage them around 25-30 I think, I am now at 40 something and still have yet to succeed. I may just be REALLY unlucky though.

I put in a bug report about this. It seems you can loot this item far before it is reasonable to expect you to salvage it, if in fact it can be salvaged at all.

Salvaged mine at skill lvl 25, 1 success and like 5 fails.

Just salvaged them last night at lvl 30, at lvl 29 they would not salvage. 1 succeeded and 1 didn't.

I had a couple pieces like the OP has and just got to salvage them at 20-21.

There is a way to tell roughly what level the salvagable broken equipment. In the tooltip it will say something like this item can be very easily salvaged.
Based on the tooltips I believe they are ordered like this; Shattered, Ruined and Sundered, in that order.

The answer is really simple ... actually, I posted how to find this out in another thread (the ruined/shattered equipment one).

1. Get Sundered Equipment in Inventory
2. Visit Auction House
3. Put Equipment in Auction House at ridiculous price
4. Search for Crafting materials at Level 25-25 (doesn't come up)
5. Search for Crafting Materials at level 50-50 (voila)
6. Cancel the Auction

Sundered equipment in level 50 salvaging. This only works for the "damaged equipment" but its useful anyway.
