I am creating this thread to hopefully clear up and educate people who either have chosen, or are debating on being, a Knight of the Blazing Sun. All of the information in this thread could be changed at any time, and for all we know it may already have been. However, the information in this thread will give you a general idea on where the Knight of the Blazing Sun class is heading so you will get a decently clear picture of what this class is capable of doing.

Knight of the Blazing Sun is the primary tank career for The Empire. While still being capable melee attackers, their primary focus is of a more defensive and protective nature. Their attacks and abilities are thus designed more to inspire and protect their allies than to weaken and destroy their enemies. Not being quite as heavily armored as the Ironbreaker or the Black Orc, the Knight of the Blazing Sun relies heavily on these skills to keep himself and his friends alive to fight another day.

As you read you will notice a layout for actions, it is as follows:
Action Name
Description
Action Point Cost (AP)
RangeNow, with that being said, you are probably wonder what these Action Points are. Action Points determine the rate at which characters can use actions - skills, spells, etc. Action points recharge gradually over time, with a higher rate of recharge when your character is not involved in combat.

Tactics are the next area, and they are basically special traits your character develops to specialize in specific areas... whether it be gun damage, gun critical, grenade damage, etc. You can gain tactics by spending points you earn when you level up. You may change them when you are not in combat.

Last, but not least, there will be Morale abilities. These abilities are gained as you are in combat. As you attack and kill opponents your morale meter will slowly rise from 0% to 100%. There are 5 levels of Morale abilities, each at 20% increments.

The Basics

Can only be Empire
Melee
Skilled with Mounted Combat (Dragoon?)
Potential back-up tank
Great survivability
Medium Armor (Mail?)Alright, now that all of that is cleared up, let's continue on to their skills and abilities.

Not being quite as heavily armored as the Ironbreaker or the Black Orc...
I'd like to see a source for this information.

It is more of his thoughts and most facts he finds been posted here or another site( which is not bad to repost it here, but he barely gives credits to the people who spent time doing research, or even going to the events, he may have who knows)

Thought it was clear that this classes was going to be the so called "tank" the plate wearing fighter, not sure about horse back, could be have a class who flies on disks :)
I could be wrong but you know there does seem to be a pattern.

Well if I may quote paul during his presentation about Knights of the Blazing Sun when they were announce as a empire class, What are they? They are huge hulking Knights who deal out tons of damage with their swords, who use positional attacks tactics and ultimately will fight while not being on the ground. So, it does not necessarily points out mounted combat but to rule out mounted combat is wrong, considering in the Tabletop the Knight Orders are Heavy Calvary. Who knows thou, things change and surely we don't have anything other then the movie I quoted from to go on.
