Ok i'm usually pretty good at telling but this screen had me confused...

Does this mean we get two handed weapons as Ironbreakers?
It would be welcome for the career in my opinion... would add so extra dps in PvE when you gots to solo it out... but if not no biggy... what do you guys think?

Yes, yes it is. However, it is a VERY old render.

And yes, when you need just that little more damage in a pitched battle, pull out the big weapon.

Pull out the big axes, and lets rock!

Early screenshots don't mean anything but I don't see why they wouldn't get 2h weapons. Tanks should be able to use 2h as well imo.

My! that is one fancy word! and coming from an orc!!! read your books of grudge dwarfs! Ragnarok is coming!!!! :p

So back on topic... who will use a two hander if we can get one? and for what if you have a choice?

I like the idea of finally playing a shield tank. I always tend to go for the 2h playstyle in other MMOs.

... but if Ironbreakers can use 2h, I think I'll keep a big hammer around just in case.

You have to remember in what conditions Ironbreakers fight. If you are going by lore using them would be ridiculous, they fight in narrow tunnel 90% of the time, and having 2h huge weapons that you swing around is interesting and deadly, but it is also deadly to the guys standing right next to you. 2h weapons were always used in history by men that fought in loose formation, which is not the Ironbreaker style especially in tunnels. By game mechanics it would be nice to have, but I don't know if they plan on going by lore here or by which weapons will make the game more playable.

Yeah i agree... it would be nice to have the option... but it's not a big need imo

I agree, it would make total sense to allow a 'tanking' class to use 2handed weapons when/if the situation arises. One thing im curious about is if your character can sheath and unsheath their weapon/weapons/and shield.

For me it is too early to tell. If I find myself being ignored in combat while the enemy swarms my companions, it might be time for a 2-hander. On the other hand, using the shield attacks to build grudge is going to be important.

*panting* dam, Bugmans fast for being so old... Oh, hey everyone!

Like I said before, 2 hander is a definate for me, wouldnt leave home without it (despite not really having one... Dam Vampires...) Also, if we sheath it anywhere, it will probably be on our backs, as they probably would be dragging in the ground beneath us if we clipped a 2 hander to our belts (or at least mine would be;)) C ya boys!

BUGGY! GET BACK HERE!!! GIMME THAT DAM HELMET BACK! *chases an old greying dwarf wearing a helmet in circles a few times, before darting out the door after him*

Well a lot of the IB skills involve using the shield (it's actually used for more than blocking). So I think at the later tiers of combat, you will see more IBs using the sword and board over the 2handers. Just my opinion, after seeing IBs in RvR scenarios tearing things apart with their shields.
