Scavenging female mobs [Archive]

Anyone else had this problem, when there is a chance that you can't scavenge a female mob?

Never had this problem. I only have a problem with scavenging mobs if they were fighting a guards or other NPC (then it is 50/50 if I can scavenge) or if I am in a group (again about half the corpses, which have been completely looted, are un-scavengeable. That does not happen if I solo something (even mobs that drop nothing (not even coin) give up something to scavenging so far).

It happens, but its only certain female mobs. For instance, the female dwarves in the chap 3 PQ that both sides can do are not scavengable, but the female peasants in Tablacland are.

Females are not human, they are animals, try using butcher on them ;)

Actually I've found the same thing with some greenskins. Seems to only happen with mobs in PQs for me.

The "normal" mobs that are around the area all the time give expected results. However when "bonus" mobs appear in stages that have 'special" activities (eg. Dwarf Ch1 Battle at Bitterstone stage 1 - the orcs that rush out and engage the NPC dwarfs) they tend not to be scavengable.

I believe this occurs when the female mob has an active restraining order on you.

Cannot scavenge female Overseers in Nordland PQ, either.
