Has we come so far that simple debating and discussion about a games features, that might be a little negative is bieng considered trolling?
If so, how will we ever uphold a two way view on this game?
I was not using foul language, nor was I flaming anyone, all I was doing was asking a simple question, which i don't feel was answered! - Why do you think, that this dosn't look like WOW?
Im really surprised that people find it non constructive to discuss a games features, with the perspective of other games!
So, lets move forward with the discussion! - So far all you have had to say, is that WAR will offer RVR; where WOW only have BG's. But don't you feel that, for a third generation mmo, should have more than copied features from the biggest mmo out there?

IF you could spend atleast 30 min to read the other post's about the game, and not concentrate on couple screenies and couple infobit's from here and there you could maby possibly understand what makes this game so different from wow. I have, but I havn't been able to discuss it myself! And there is not many discussions about it, on this forum! so if you please!
And no i am not basing my arguments on a couple of screenies and infobit's, im basing it on deep (deep as it can get at this point) research on both games!

There's a difference between debating a game, and opening attacking a game.
You were openly attacking the game, that just leads to negativity and the thread *will* decend into flames.
The mods were just cutting the thread off at the pass :) .
If you've ever read the DAoC Vault Network forums, they are rife with negativity and attacks on Mythic. That sort of behaviour is not constructive.
Just as your post was not really constructive.
Present your opinions in an intelligent, thoughtful manner and discuss the information we've seen so far.
That's the proper way for a discussion to proceed.
Which brings up a point. We have not seen all the info about the game yet. All we've seen is the stuff that does in fact somewhat resemble WoW.
But even in resembling WoW (and the other various MMOs on the market), WAR is slowly starting to show how it is unique and different.
The are other features we don't yet know about. Features that Mythic is prolly keeping a lid on because the game has over a year until release. Putting that unique and cool info out there now, opens that stuff to being copied.
So likely the best and coolest stuff will be held tightly under wraps for quite a while.

And here i was, wondering how could it be that this board had such a low troll-factor... maybe i called misfortune on us all?
Anyway, since i feel nice, i'll answer.
1: It's not WAR that copies WoW's background, environment and races. It's Blizzard that blatantly copied from the warhammer universe (and they did it as well with starcraft, copying from warhammer 40k). So this is a moot point.
2: WAR's graphics have nothing to do with WoW. WoW's graphics are cartoonish, while WAR's graphics seem (from the early screenies) much more aiming towards semi-realism, inspired by the imagery of GW's miniature and by the most popular color palette between miniature painters.
3: i don't see ANY primary common points between a PvE/loose PvP game like WoW and a completely RvR oriented game like WAR, it's like comparing orange to apples. Sure, they're both fruits, but they have nothing else to do with each other.
4: you're wrong. Period.
5: when a moderator closes a post you opened, it's a very bad idea and kinda rude behavioir to just open another. It's a clear sign of disrespect towards the moderator's judgment and authority. If you need to ask for explanations or reasons more than what he stated on the closed post itself, the private messaging function comes in handy.

Read the rules: http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=974
While we welcome open discussion, no “flaming” of any company, game or individual will be tolerated. Ideas and thoughts are welcome. Insults and disparaging remarks will not be tolerated. We want to keep this forum limited to discussing concepts and ideas. For example, discussion of the pros and cons of “camping” is perfectly acceptable. Berating companies and games for their camping issues is not.
Camping is used as an example there, and in your case you are using game art, and instanced battle grounds. Those topics can be implemented in so many different ways that you won't be able to tell the difference until the game is released, with that being a year away, the discussion is pointless. Basically we want to avoid discussions that go along the lines of "Game A sucks because they are ripping game B off." These topics don't really do anything but make people yell at each other. Feel free how to talk about how you think an instance battle ground should be implemented, or why it shouldn't, but to compare WoW's battlegrounds which have been released to Mythic's battle ground (which has 1-2 paragraphs describing them in diffrent news articles, that isn't first hand information) is a pointless discussion.
If you have a problem with these rules please feel free to talk to me, or any other mod in tells.
