Head < Body?

Anyone notice how odly shaped the Chosen looks in his In-Game pictures? How small the head is compared to his chest/body? I hope it doesn't look this bad once the game comes out:

He's buff and his armor is really huge? I don't know what to say but I know their armor is over sized on purpose.

well, that pic looks like its from a a lower angle than a standard straight on look. Thats also the chaos warrior look. theyre very very large so they wear large armor, but you cant wear an overly large helmet or it will fit loosly and wont move around with your head (which is why im mad I spent 150 bucks on a helmet that is way to big for my head >.>)

You want a helm to be tight fighting, but with armor, if you are strong enough and it is flexible enough you want to go as thick and heavy as possible...(read mutations)

Personally I think it looks fine. Chaos warriors have always had helmets around that size. When you think about it, if a person becomes huge a muscular like a chaos warrior, their head doesn't get bigger, it stays the same. Plus there's the fact that helmets have to be fairly tight and pretty much as small as possible to stay on someone's head, whereas body armour can be a lot thicker and loose-fitting for mobility.

I agree with the OP, so far the in-game shots of the Chosen have put me off playing one, a lot.

I'm seriously considering a Marauder, I'll just have to see what they look like come next months newsletter. :)

I don't have to worry about this though. Us Marauders don't have to hide behind layer upon layer of armor. :p

That looks fine. It's a view from below, and it's got the high collar. The helmet is fine, the collar is giving the impression of a small head.

looks a little odd, either the angle of the picture or soemthing but his chestpiece does look oddly big, even for a chaos chosen...girl chosen maybe? for the boobs:twisted: either way i hope they arent exactly like that in game, kinda goofy looking

Chaos in warhammer have a long history of bodies larger than heads. Think of it this way, they mutate to be more and more lethal im combat, so the body gets bigger. Their head doesn't really need to change as much, so it lags behind. Could be worse, I remember a friend got the "pinhead" mutation back in the day and his champion became a drooling idiot.

You also need to realize that suit of armor is holding who know what under that. If some if it were to be removed, a lot of hell would spill out. If it was smaller, it would be too tight for the Chosen, and he would cause it to burst, and spill all of his chaos mutations everywhere

That model looks to me as if it isn't finished yet. Thats just me. I think they will look betterin the release.

But if it did get bigger.... that would be chaosey, because no one else's heads get bigger

I think it looks fine, besides a little head means a smaller target.

That's just the way they've always looked, just look at this (http://uk.games-workshop.com/download/popup.htm?/hordesofchaos/artwork/images/art01.jpg) real artwork to see what I mean.
Looks fine to me, you'd need hugely well developed upper chest muscles to deal with the weight of a suit of armour like that so it's fine that they've got huge upper bodies in comparison to their heads.
