The Magus can only use fire?

Just wondering if the Magus is limited to different kinds of fire, as opposed to being able to cast lightning or frost magic.

One thing you have to understand it Tzeetchian chaos fire is not the same fire being wielded by the Bright Wizard. From what I have learned in my few short months here, I would say that chaos fire really shares very little with normal fire at all. They call it fire, and it probably burns things pretty good, but thats about it. Let's look at one of the ways the Magus uses green (http://war.gamewikis.org/wiki/Befuddling_Green_Fire) and orange (http://war.gamewikis.org/wiki/Invoke_Orange_Fire) fire, respectively. Those are pretty unsual traits for fire, wouldn't ya say? Or hell, the blue flames (http://war.gamewikis.org/wiki/Surging_Blue_Fire). Bouncing fire? Why... thats madness! No, wait... thats CHAOS!

Okay, to really answer your question... maybe. I wouldn't count on any ice stuff, but we may or may not see lightning spells too. But the flames will be the bread and butter of a magus.

If you watch the June podcast you'll notice someone specifically mentions a Magus ability which involves lightning.

Wouldn't bet on any frost magic though.

The Magus has been mentioned shooting lightning multiple times, so I think he'll have an array of fire as well as lightning abilities.

The ability list posted didn't have any normal lightning powers. It had only a single Morale ability that involved it.

Man I loved my undead mage in WoW and so look forwarding to playing a mage or mangus as they are called here.

the only people that use ice magic in TT are the kislevites which arent in this game.

The magus is a cool class with devastating powers. I dont know much about their full potential, or what it can cast, but i already like him.

My biggest question: shall i go chosen or magus....
