I wondered if there are many Hobby people reading the forums here?
I purchase The Battle for Skull Pass set about a year ago, was my first attempt at painting miniatures (I'm not interested in the Tabletop Gaming, just the Hobby side)
At the time I purchased it Games Workshop had a nice Skull Pass Website which gave step by step instructions on how to pain all the different Miniatures up.
Seem that this site has dissapeared now and not much info is available on how to paint them.
I wondered if anyone has some decent links to sites that have Warhammer Miniature Painting Guides?
Many thanks

Greets.
If you are really interested in the hobby, then I would suggest a guide that GW has "How to Paint Citidael Miniatures". You can find it for about 20 dollars at your local game store.
There is also a specific guide, and rather cheap, for BFSP.
As a side note, practice makes perfect when it comes to painting mini's, all the guide will help with is tips and tricks from the pro's.
For your goblins, I would suggest goblin green for the skin, Blood Red or Lich Purple for their clothing, Beastial Brown for wooden objects, then Boltgun Metal for blades/metal. Once finished wash the entire figure in Badab Black, (for eyes, just dot Scab or Blood red.)
For your dwarves, Elf Flesh for the skin, Mithril Silver for the chainmail, Enchanted blue for under clothing, Chaos Black would work as well, Snake Bite leather for gloves and boots (This can go will with the goblins as well), for detail on the dwarves skin, take beastial brown and your finest tip brush and paint the muscle crevisis, then wash the mini in Badab Black.

posting from work
I've always found the RelicNews Painting & Modelling forums (http://forums.relicnews.com/forumdisplay.php?f=110) to be very helpful.

Just had a look on the Games Workshop site (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/home.jsp)
One of the cool things about this IP is that you can choose a Class to play, get yourself attached and also but a model of that Class to paint and keep.
I'm playing a Black Orc and I just came across this on the Games Workshop site, it's under the collectables section.
I'm going to have to buy it and paint it!!!
