Eer...yeah...stuff is great. I like stuff. And stuffing...mmm....sage and apple...yummy!

I prefer Wyches, personally. But I play Dark Eldar. harlequins are cool too, though. Great figures.

I fell in love with Dark Eldar, then I saw the models :(

It was a love affair of short, but sweet, moments.

As an avid Dark Eldar player I regretfully agree. the miniature range is looking...tired...hit and miss...distintctly dodgy in parts.

Hopefully, given how amazing the new Harlequins are, the new Dark Eldar will be much, much better. Jes Goodwin is rumoured to have told GW that he and only he would be doing the new range.

Harlequins.

Not sure why this is in discussion of Dark Elf sorcerers, mind.

As for Dark Eldar, I like a few of the models (Incubi, basic warriors, the jetbikes (but not the jetbike riders), but hate most of them. They need a new line of minis and a new codex, the former more than Orks and the latter just as much.

All that said, I can't say I like the concept that much; I'd much prefer Corsairs or Exodites as an army. When Eldar pirates became Dark Eldar, it was a bad day, IMO - because 40k must mirror fantasy. That said, I think Dark Eldar could be better if GW fleshed out the concept and the fluff some more. Well, a lot more. As it is, the only reason I can stand them is because they are Eldar.

The Dark Eldar incubus looked really awesome, especially their special character. If they'd followed that line artistically and avoided the whole "berserker elf women in spiky panties" thing the wytches had going on, they could have had an army that wasn't embarrassing to play.

The wyches were just butt ugly. Like the Reaver Jetbike riders. Except the one with a helmet on, I could live with that model.

Incubi rocked. I absolutely adored them, they had style and looked sinister without looking like a model advert for a BDSM shop.
