I haven't decided upon my chosen class yet, but after watching some videos, particularly one showing an Ironbreaker in action, I'm very tempted to play as one! :D

The thing is, I LOVE armour in all MMO's I play. The shinier and more elaborate the better! The concept art and screenshots of Ironbreakers decked out in all their finery make me weep with joy.

Any other armour loving freaks out there? :p

Go ironbreaker or hammerer if you like ornate armor, plus dwarfs are kick

If you like armor, Dwarfs will never steer you wrong. And if you want something heavy, go for Gromril man (That's what Ironbreakers wear)

You got your armor on my Dwarf!
You got your Dwarf in my armor!

Hmmm...

(Two great tastes that go great together!)

If you want really elaborate armor, you might prefer the Knight of the Blazing Sun (http://www.war-resource.com/careers/knightoftheblazingsun.php#concept_art). It doesn't get a whole lot more elaborate than bright yellow suns and feathers!

Gromril is cool, too, but the KotBS is more elaborate, imo.

Bright yellow suns, featherss? Is it just me or does that make the KotBS sound like he's getting ready for Carnivale instead of a fight?

Nah I'm joshing, to be honest though I'd say if I had to choose the Chosen armor looks more impressive in my opinion than the KotBS. But I prefer Dwarf craft just because... it's... awesome?

Cant get much cooler than dwarf craftsmenship on metal that literally fell out of the sky. May not be the toughest thing on this earth (that wouldnt make sense if it was, being a space rock) but it is the coolest, IMO, and I'm a HoC TT player.

Wheres Bugman when you need him? Here buggy, buggy, buggy!

Pardon? You obviously have no clue. Gromril makes the strongest armor because it is the strongest metal. That is why it is so coveted by dwarves. And space rocks are made of high density metals (thats why they survived the little tumble onto our planet), so that means it's quite strong, considering it's heating flames were our atmosphere and the Earth it's forge.

For gorgeous armour I think the Chaos Chosen followed by (surprisingly) chaos Magus. Their armour is so elabourate.

Actually, gromril is no where near the most powerful armor on earth. Perhaps for pure natural resiliency, yes it may well be. But when it comes to armour like the armour of Gazrakh, I can't say Gromril is the toughest anymore. Not blessed, Not inscribed with runes, NOT GROMRIL, and no magic inscriptions whatsoever. To me, that is some very potent armour that even those combat masters like the Blood Dragons and Khorne Lordes would have trouble getting around. This is armour made out of metaloids that were dug right out of the chamber of Hashut and refined to make a set worthy of only a king.

The armour of Gazrakh is ONE piece of magic armour.
Gromril armour is a term used for all armour made out of gromril.
Besides, a runed up suit of Gromril armour is better than the armour of Gazrakh anyway.

What about Adamant? That will surely beat the Gazrakh armour. Especially if it is rune forged.

Don't forget the Knights of the Blazing Sun - they'll have some nice-looking armour too (and big hats!)

A magicaly immune metal of unmatched strength. Its created through the refining of Gromril and the process is known only to a few Dwarven master smiths.

It grants the wearer immunity to magic. The only way of imbuing it further is to place runes on it whilst in the process of being forged. Once this has been done the magical quality of the armour is forever set.

So yeah, pretty freakin' awsome.

Cheesy early 80's pop singer with a flair for Neo-Romanticism.

Dwarves make the best armor, hands down.
