My biggest hope for Marauders is that exessive use of mutations can turn you into a flailing fire spewing chaos spawn, wildly unleashing every avaliable ability on the nearest target. I can imagine it as a big damage boost in exchange for loosing a lot of control over your character, where you have to struggle against your random movements just to get around.
I know it doesn't really fit with the IP to have a guy turn into spawn and then later turn back, but I've never seen anything where a bunch of guys are able to change their mutations either. Failing that I'd be content staying as a spawn. >:D
