Base Camp @ Onlinewelten

Onlinewelten has two exclusive screenshots of Warhammer Online up for display this week. The first screenshot features two Orcs upon a mountaintop staring over their war torn objective. The second is that of a sleepy base camp nearly devoid of signs of life.

Why do they use cartoon looking trees instead of nice looking tress they have in DAoC?
I like DAoC trees much better, these on camp screenshot are quite ugly :(

Could the first picture be featuring a Savage Orc mayhap? Perchance that'll be one of the Urk & Grobi classes?

I must say I'm rather pleased to see that the game looks rather distinct from WoW (a game that is distinctly lacking in the WOW factor), our orcs are craploads better, something which perchance is reflected in the large amount of people who actually want to play them here?

Some of those heavily armored orcs just look sick... the orc in pic 55 and the front 2 in pic 63 are impressive :o .

If the Orc in Pic 55 had a 2 handed axe i would probably Consider it HAWT.

If the armor for the Orcs is looking this good and HAWT (why stop trends), then just imagine the types of armor we will see for Chaos.

It is hard to believe that these pics are all Alpha or Pre-Alpha (don't know the correct terminology). I can not wait until E3, hell I can't wait for WAR to hit my HD for that matter.

I have been away from the forums for the last two weeks (military stuff), and this thread is a nice welcome. Thank you Garthilk for posting these screenies.
