If we are not allowed to weild a wep. how will be able to slaughter in Tzeenth's(SP?Havn't been able to spell the God names correct lately) and earn these so called "mutation points" Paul talks about in the video.

Will we be at like "stage one" at mutation have a minor mutation and kill people than eventualy be able to slaughter people with your higher ranks of mutations and it wares down when we are out of combat.

Or will be like you can weild a wep. Than you kill 10 people have (I've heard the bar will go up to 100) say... 55 and
Mutation A:Mutate blah blah blah blah costs 25 points very small degeneration

Mutation B: Mutate blah blah blah blah blah costs 50 points has a minor degeneration

Mutation C: blah blah blah blah blah blah blah costs 75 points normal degeneration

Mutation D: blak blah blah blah blah blah blah costs 90 points fast degeneration

The things you can mutate into are depending on which tier you are on like Tier 1 (Mutate A) Tier 2 (mutate A+B) Tier 3 (mutate A+B+C) Tier 4 (mutate A+B+C+D)

you are able to weild a weapon, the mutation is for the off-hand. and if i remember correctly, there wont be a "mutation power" bar or anything since they said its best to mutate before a battle begins, therefor i think its more likely to have a long cast time, hence if your trying to kill a marauder it is best to catch them un-mutated.

I see but what about an upgraded mutation or will we always have like Tier 1 mutation Tier 2 Mutation Tier 3 Mutation Tier 4 Mutation and some other side mutations and whichever one you prefer you'll have to mutate into that before the battle?

What video did Paul mention anything about "points"?

Yes, I'm curious to see how they handle this.

But I do think it will make for interesting and diverse mutations. You'll most likely have a few different choices to pick from in terms of which mutation you want...I'm just wondering whats going to make them different.

1. Mutation A: Poisons the enemy?
2.Mutation B: Slow attack, heavy dmg?

This is the sort of thing I hope they do with it, could make for some pretty cool group diversity.

i believe he means action points, which is needed for every skill excluding morale abilities and the like

Says "mutation points" in the original post, probably did mean action points though.

I didn't really like Titan Quest because it was so damn buggy, but one thing I did like about it was how auras reserved some of your mana. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that inplace for mutations where mutations would reserve some of your AP while stronger ones would reserve more.

From what I gathered, you bash stuff over the head for a bit, get "mutation points" and then spend the points on mutations that last X amount of time

Non-toggle mutations make me a sad panda :(

Yea, that's what I got from the video as well. It seems to me that you might have to grind mutation points prior to PvPing, and then while you are PvPing you will earn mutation point during it, so that you can just continue with it. Something along those lines anyways, which I don't really like, but I won't judge anything until I get some hard facts.

That dosn't make any sense, since your supposed to be able to do nothing but PvP if you want, from rank 1 to rank 40. I see it more of a the more ya fight, the more points ya get sorta thing, and it goes away out of combat. So you start with some weak mutation, and as you fight you get access to better mutations.

Isn't not making any sense more chaosy though? lol, just joking, but honestly I wouldn't rule that out just yet, in fact I would say there is not nearly enough information on it yet to rule out quite a bit of the speculation around these boards, especially when a lot of the information given makes it sounds the way I put it. I remember when that information first came out, and I can tell you right now, the majority of people I was talking to about it saw it the same way as me. Anyways, I've thought about it a lot and I have always hoped it would be more along the lines of what you said (was actually hoping for toggled mutations), so don't get me wrong here, I just got a different idea from the information as you.
