Seriously though I think it requires a very deep and thoughtful answer...no.
This isnt WoW so it can never become like WoW period.
Every class in WAR is different so balancing them will be alot easier as there wont be as many of them.

I choose the Raccoon suit myself. The frog suit was too hoppy. And if we get to go to Super Mario 64, then the Warrior Priest is obviously the next Metal Mario. :)

The Warrior Priest AFAIK can't dish out any recognizable damage at range, so he'll have one hell of a time against all Ranged Fighters.

The game is in early beta right now. I think it's a bit early to dispense with the "overpowered" accusations.

Back to the topic... Okay, we have the WoW Shaman, a hybrid with melee cabilities, healing capabilties, and elemental spell cabailities, made by Blizzard, in a PvE game. And then we have the WAR Warrior Priest, melee and healing capabilities, in an RvR game, by Mythic. So... they both have melee and healing capabilties... so... they must be overpowered, though it is still in early beta and a total stretch to assume they would be based off a completely diffrent game by a completely diffrent company that happened to have a class that is nothing at all like the class in question?

This isn't WoW-2, this isn't Blizzard, this is WAR. Maybe the Squig Herder is the next WoW hunter. Maybe the Bright Wizard is the next fire specced WoW Mage. Or myabe it's just a whole diffrent game with all sorts of diffrent things. The 30cal machine gun in DoD is underpowered, so clearly the the sniper rifle in Halo 3 will be overpowered. That is what you just said.

Exactly this is WAR. I don't understand why an increasing amount of members of this forum have to mention WoW in almost every single thread or worse, in the thread title. I have nothing against WoW, but there are better ways to get your point across than comparing every single thing with WoW. This is a forum about the game Warhammer, not WoW.

When was the last time you saw a shaman in WoW, they have been the suck for 2 years. Can we please move on from overpowered this and that and comparing them to WoW. Look other games balance classes and skills around pve, this game they will be balanced around pvp. You can bet if one class starts dominating it will be tuned until its fair. And out of all the classes I have seen, warrior priest looks to be the least overpowered. Trying to heal/fight/heal in meelee is going to be hard for all but the most talented. Your really making yourself an easy target for anyone.

First, WAR is not WoW as others have said.

Secondly, if you think Shaman was ever overpowered you must really suck
at PvP and you shouldn't even think of playing WAR.

shamans arent even overpowered in WoW they have been nerfed into oblivion. they dont even have a cc.
