So, I love me some spiders. As a caster, they're amazing. +Armor, +Toughness, AND stabilizers? What's not to love? Unfortunately, I'm having troubles finding them. Spiders are few and far between, and it's rare to find them where they spawn as fast as I can kill them.
So, where do you guys find your spiders? Ideally, I'd prefer level 35+ locations, but anywhere where they're really abundant would be great. Scorpions and Tuskgors count too I suppose, since they drop such good stuff I guess I can count them as honorary spiders.
Right now I keep on having to travel back to Avelorn's level 22 spider caves to get my fix.

The southwest of Thunder mountain has a pass where there are some spiders. They are 30+ in level, and not sure if enough to farm. There is another area near the dwarf camp on west side of the zone as well with spiders.... the 2 spawn points are about 2 minutes apart or less on mount. Going back and orth between areas should keep you busy :)
Wonder but last time spiders droped zoic for me was in T2...
IN SW part of thudner mountain - those just west of orc ch18 dont drop zoic , there is maybe 15 of them at time
There asre some West of ch 17 btu thsoe cant be butchered
THere are also lava crawlers in cinderfall but again couldnt be butchered.

Barak Varr. South of the Dwarf Warcamp a ways and a bit east there is a lvl 11 Champion spider "Wetfang Widow". Once attacked it will spawn, I believe, 9 lvl 7 baby spiders.
I don't know how easy it is for a non-tank to actually do solo, but when I found it at lvl 16 IB I had no problem taking it on myself. It respawns quickly so there is little downtime killing it. It does drop more lvl 1 stuff but I get decent amounts of 25 and 50.

boars drop toughness too, and materials to make your potions last longer...which is good because you don't have to make as many potions...
A good ingredient will extend a 10 minute potion to an hour.
worth a look.
