Are item procs being mitigated by toughness and/or resists?

Has anyone tested the weapon procs to see what kind of damage type they are, along with wether they are affected by toughness and/or resists? Also do they have the ability to crit?

I haven't picked any of the weapons up yet so I can't test them out yet.

Not sure about the ability to crit, but I'm almost positive that they are not mitigated by toughness or resists.

Last night I was getting hit for a flat 300 per proc; nothing more, nothing less.

This applies to all procs, too. Even class abilities that are procs are not mitigated by anything. This includes the damage from the high elf tactic Centuries of Training, Witch Elf Kisses, Witch Hunter Blessed Bullets, etc. I think they *can* crit, but I'm not 100% sure.

All of them could at some point in the beta. Then Funnel Power was changed to not get a bonus from int or be able to crit, because it was uber with FBB, then Flames of Rhuin, then I can't remember what else. I imagine they all follow the same rule now, for homogenization's sake.

I've never seen the 300dd from my epic weapon crit, and it certainly doesn't get mitigated. My blessed bullets seem to follow the same trend (although the healing given from them if I use Sanctified Bullets (http://www.wardb.com/spell.aspx?id=8132) CAN crit, but that's essentially a triggered heal off another triggered effect).

It's logically impossible to prove that something cannot crit via SS and Combat Logs. In general, it's impossible to prove a negative.

'Ere we go always does the listed damage, regardless of armor, toughness, resist, intelligence, etc.

Some of the epic weapons that proc for a flat 300 always do 300, but there is one SH weapon which does procs for ~400 but is affected by some sort of mitigation.

As far as I'm aware, they do the same 'unmitigated' damage type as (for example) Morale abilities - they're not affected by Toughness, Armour or Resists, but neither are they boosted by any stat and they can't crit.
