I'm sure if you've ever tried then you've experienced having it get interrupted a lot, seemingly without reason. Which is why I want to ask, any tips as to why it happens and how to succeed more often?

You can not scavenge when you are in combat. If you have a dot on you, you'll be interrupted. If you're flagged as in combat, you'll not be able to finish an attempt.

Ah, so just any time you're in combat? Makes sense. If only it were easier to leave combat...

I'm not so sure this is true. I have this same problem in rvr, even when I'm not dotted.

But, once the fray moves away, I can eventually Scavenge things. However, I'm still locked in combat so Tactics cannot be changed.

I think it's just bugged.

any time you recieve RP or XP you get interrupted as well, thats typically why i get interrupted.

Yea, its definitely NOT that you cannot scavenge while in combat, as I do this ALL the time while grouped with my hubby, so I can clear out the corpses and we can move before respawns.

I find if you mount before you scavenge, the rate of looting the corpse is improved considerably.. seems to be a bug when you are on foot and sometimes have to be in a certain position to actually loot some of the bodies.

This is the worst bug ever, i'm so frustrated about this! It is ok that i get interrupted by dots and damage, but when not taking damage i shouldn't get ing interrupted!!!
