View Full Version : Shaman movement...

I was thinking that the Shaman could use some more interesting ways to move around. Shaman's in Greenskin tribes are revered and feared, it seems kinda bland that a shaman should do the running around for himself.
When I think tribal shaman, I think of servant(s) carrying the shaman around some way, doing all the grunt work for him. since the Magus gets a disk, I thought it would be a cool and comical for a Shaman to ride on a gobbo servant, a squig, or a couple snotlings.
Something similar to this, Fetish Shaman. (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/monsters/act3-fetishshaman.shtml) I really love this enemy from Diablo II, and it has always stuck in my head ever since I first played. I just thought it be great to see a shaman siting on top of servant, hitting him to move faster, or both of them reacting together to different events.

A throne carried by snotlings? A chariot maybe?

Yea, anything like that, but don't you agree it would be so much cooler and "Greenskin-like" to have a shaman being carried around by lesser gobbos or snotlings?
Heck even a squig at higher levels would be cool. I think being carried by two snotlings, or a slave gobbo would be the best, for the animations, the originality for a mmo, and the comedy of it all.

Goblin Shamns are not honored in orc tribes maybe in a goblin tribes and why waste the snotlings carrying us around when they could be fighting the stunties.

No one is honored in orc tribes. All shamans are however - I don't know a good word for it, wait... Honored! Argh! What I mean is honored... but not in the traditional way... Yawns.
Wrong, jack. ALL SHAMANS are feared and respected.
What he said.
To the idea, I don't like it.

When the hunting party returns with both an Orc and a Goblin, Malekith is surprised. It seems the two are inseparable, jointly leading a powerful new tribe calling themselves the "Bloody Sun Boyz". The goblin shaman, Gazbag, provides the brains while the towering brute of an Orc, Grumlok, supplies the muscle. For each, Malekith forges a magical amulet that greatly amplifies the wearer's abilities.
Yea they aren't honored, in the traditional sense of the word, but yes they are feared and honored in a way that greenskins know they are powerful, and posses the power of Gork N' Mork. Not to mention you two both have no idea what your talking about because Grumlok and Gazbag rule equally, learn to stay current with lore, instead of your own versions.
why waste the snotlings carrying us around when they could be fighting the stunties.
What, so the grot can die in seconds, like it would make a difference. Besides Greenskins in positions of authority take advantage of slave labor, and a Shaman of superior power would gladly have grots do the hard work for him.

I've only seen em ride wolves before, but seeing them carried by a pile of snotlings would be hilarious, like ants carrying a cracker. I dunno how that would be for the normal low level shaman though, my goblin shaman has walked his way through many battles in TT just fine.

I don't think you quite understand. Snotlings aren't members of greenskin tribes, they're like animals. Most don't even make it up to your shin, they are like bipedal rats who live in dung heaps that kinda look like goblins. They are lower than dung even, because dung can be used to make dwellings, the only thing a snotling is usefull for is a quick snack.

WHAT they have plenty of uses!
Things like clearing landmines, recreational Greenskin Sports, and a great substitute for toilet paper...lol.
