I have not been able to document with a dps parser yet, I did want to get this thread started as many SM's are not happy with our functionality. As I login to test more often I'll be updating this.

Bolstering Enchantments, Now at max Hoeth it heals for 220 Hp over 10 seconds, tooltip states that it should be healing group, unable to test that, however it did heal for the stated amount.

Negative Item on it, it still does not scale with Willpower, unknown if this is intended.

Blessings of Heaven, Heals for the exact amount stated in tooltip, 125 hp at max Hoeth over 3s after initial affect is applied to target.

Negative Item on it, does not scale with any attribute (unknown if intended) and will only be applied by using Ensorcelled Blow, (200 uses of Wrath of Hoeth, 200 Uses of Gusting Wind and neither applied the affect)

Crashing Wave does not cause Knockdown reliably.

Admittedly I don't have the numbers for comparison to live right now, I will be working more on this tomorrow.

Crashing Wave has been tweaked multiple times during the PTS, when it was released immediately after, Cashing Wave's KD worked, but hot fixes seem to accidentally break it again.

But yes, I am one of the many SM not really happy with the patch...

any clue why SM even has any changes planned? It does not feel overpowered to me, and the changes have jumbled up my attack combo and use the AP much faster.

Bolstering enchantment was healing me on test for twice the listed amount with full hoeth. However, this could be a bug as my SM is severely bugged, moreso than normal SM bugs.

All I know is, on live server, i'm getting far less healing per tic than on the test server.

I wish I could do more testing on it because it was starting to look really viable on test...but the test server craps out and drops me to desktop every 3 minutes.

edite to add: Blessing of heaven is healing me for a total of 75 over 3 seconds on test server.

Clearly my toon is bugged

While testing some stuff at Bastion Stair I noticed that Bolstering Enchantments was healing me for 48 per tick and another Swordmaster in my group for 44 a tick. Has anyone else seen it healing different people for different amounts?

Hoeth is completely gutted though:

1. No real attack cycle due to no "anytime" finisher. Both have timers.
2. Range decrease in WoH, its a low damage skill already (ignores weapon damage) and now the range is subpar to the gusting wind (with tactic)
3. One "finisher" knocks your target away... just what I wanted. (its great as utility, sucks as a finisher... its even bad for other specs as it takes away that finisher slot)


Basically if you want to have real attack cycle spec something else, and hope you don't get annoyed that you had to use gusting wind to save a squishy instead of Ether dance to do dps after knocking someone back.

i completly agree.
30ft WoH was the only ability that swordmaster had different from other tanks.
Range decrease is a great nerf for us.

GW is not a good finisher cause 10s cd...

why they change gw with WoH... sowrdmaster needed many fix.... they fix a thing that worked ...

Oh and making it #2 doesn't make it easier to debuff your damage for other specs.

If I'm working on damage I use snare, snare is #2, not WoH...

Old system: I got snare and WoH on 1st go, next few gos I work with more damage

New system: I got snare on, and use my finisher with no WoH active, then I get WoH on, however if I'm Khaine my snare will stop working before I'm done with my 2 chains, thanks to ED not being instant.

Which is worse?
