New Horn Mounting Sound

So i've gotta ask, since I haven't seen anyone mention it. Or maybe, maybe it's just me.

But from my experience, the horn sounds different when you mount now.

So my question is: Who actually likes this new sound? Why in the world do we have this new sound anyway?

I feel like I'm pulling out a kazoo I got from the local fair.

The new sound, sounds like a goose being tortured for a moment before being quickly put out of its misery :p

All I know is, the new sound is going to be really funny when 2-3 warbands all mount up at once.

The first time I heard the new sound, not expecting it, it was coming out of my headphones that were lying on the table next to me. Not realizing where it was coming from, I actually went to the window expecting to see some strange beast rooting about outside.

i second this. I am appalled at the Order horn sound. It is like a "you've got mail" alert. Who actually petitioned for the sound to be changed? I love the current one. At least let people choose or BUY their horn sounds so we can use the one we prefer and keep some individuality.

The dark elf horn sound is horrid, I liked the old one better.

I haven't had a chance to hear it, but anything is better than what we've got now.

my wife hates it, and goes around the house imitating the sound (and quite well, I'll add) to piss me off, and she doesn't even play the game.

I'm not a big fan. It's louder, and less appealing to me. Mythic needs to understand that sound should accent the game, not be a driving factor. Whoever does sounds for this game just normalizes everything to 11. The Roflcopter being the worst example of this.
