Dear Developers and fellow members of the WAR player community,
As a disclaimer, I want to innitially acknowledge that WAR is still early in its release and that despite many of the various impending refinements that are no doubt in development, the game is a remarkable accomplishments on multiple fronts.
My complaint concerns aesthetics. From what I've seen, almost every class has one. . . . maybe two different armor graphic types available to them depending on their level. Despite the rather peculiar selection of merchant dyes available, everyone looks almost exactly the same. I love the idea of the trophy system, but it isn't quite frankly enough to make one character's appearance signature. I've noticed this particularly in the case of the witch-hunter, who has innately one of the more signature appearances of all the classes. Considering how particular that look is, it seems to me that a vast spectrum of variabiliy should be available. Unfortunately, however, a witch hunter between 30-40 really only has one chestpiece (2 if a certain quest is completed or rare item is found). It may seem like a small thing, but I find this to be a considerable disappointment. Will there be more armor added to the game? Not just for high level players but for low level players? I appreciate the dye system, but it doesn't completely fulfill the purpose of customization that I believe it was meant to fulfill. I believe it is resulting in a somewhat boring aesthetic which departs significantly from the warhammer design tradition.
As a foot note, will more dye options be introduced? I understand that the merchant dye options were likely fixed to make crafters more "special", but those merchant options are really rather clownish.
I understand that changes will be made. If more members of the community appreciate this proposition, I'd appreciate your support on this thread
