I have watched all of the ones that I could find, and out of all of them I have only found one in which you can see the Squig doing damage, and it just seems to be its regular auto attack. Anyone know where to find others of the Squig being used, and by used I mean actually attacking something not just being out.

That is the best video I have seen of Squigs in use, however it seems like he only uses them a fraction of the time, its the same video I refered to in my OP. It seems like the Squig does equal DPS to what the Herder hits for with his bow but he barely uses the Squig.

Ya most of the videos that I have watched it seems the person playing forgets that he is a SQUIG HERDER and not just a bowman. Hopefully they make it so you have to be decent at multi tasking to keep maximum DPS and survivability, using skills for the squig and for the herder at the same time.

In this video its myself playing the Squig Herder, and tbh I did actually forget about my Squig most of time, and when I had it out I didn't even realise I had a Squig Control bar next to my action bar, I was to busy playing the game, bearing in mind its the first time i've played.
The second round however, I actually found my Squig Control bar and used it to better effect, the Squig does have some moves, Headbutt I think is probably a basic for all Squigs, they didn't have any other moves. There was a move called "Claw" on my action bar which caused my Squig to attack my target and do some extra dmg on its first attack, which is basically how I was using my squig the first time round. The dmg seems to be 50:50 Squig to Bow.

Well I know for part of it he uses the Spiney Squig which could be doing its Ranged DPS and to me seems like the best option for a group PVP situation like that. Sit at the back help other DPS classes finish off thier targets faster with your Squig at your side doing the same.
My concern and I couldnt really tell in that video is how fast did the Squig die, and was the person of equal level to the Squig that he killed? I cant tell if it does get killed or if maybe he choose to make it go boom.

Thats awesome that you were the one who got to. A few questions you might be able to answer.
Did the Squig attacks require your AP in order to use them or does the Squig have its own AP bar?
How was the Squigs HP, Armor etc, could it take a few hits from someone or do they go down pretty quick?
Did you get a chance to use anything besides the "Claw" move you spoke of, like the snare one, or the Farty Squig that makes it explode?

Apart from that Claw attack, the others are used on the Squigs own AP bar.
Can't tell you much about the Squigs HP or armour, cos I didn't really see it after i'd set it on someone, I assume it can take a fair few hits as it stayed on them for a long while.
The moves that I had were
"Foot stabby" or something like that, it immobilised by target, used it once or twice to get out of a jam.
"Plink" which was just a basic arrow attack
"Poison Arrer" basic poison arrow.
"Triple Arrer" sort of an AoE, from what I saw, if there are 3 enemies in range, it fires an arrow at each one, if there are say 2 enemies in range, it will fire 2 arrows at 1 and 1 arrow at the other, and if there's just 1 enemie in range, it will all 3 arrows at that enemy.
"Shoot thru ya" This move was basically like a super powered version of "Plink", I think from the name that it had the ability to hit more than one target, if they were in the same "line" if you catch my drift.
Then I had my horned Squig and my spined Squig Summon.
The Claw attack already listed.
And Flee.

When you had the Spine Squig out did it do its range attack at all? If so what was the damage on it?
Also of all the videos I have to say yours was the best, you lived got some awesome kills and did lots of damage without getting touched. Props to you for learning the class quickly enough to do a good job, and making a good video of it.

I think it may have done, and thats probably the reason I didn't use it in the second match, as I prefered the Squig that did Melee dmg, but thats only a preference.
Well most of the not getting touched thing was thanks to my guildies who were there as well, there were 6 of us there in total, and Iain was nice enough to let us all go into a game together, which we did twice, and won the only 2 Destruction wins of the day.

There were a couple scraps that you got into melee range and got out of thanks to abalities and stuff.
Thanks for answering a bunch of questions, only wish I got to play now. WoW has lost what little flavor it had left waiting on this.
man, why, in the end of the video, when you wasn't moving, you fall down on the floor? and running around in the Jesus Christ pose? O.o that was a bit weird...

Yeah seen that video its not the best, you do however see out of the corner see the Spiney Squig fire off a spine or thats what it looks like to me. I prefer the Eva Vix it shows a bit more of the skills.
