this is probably ignorant beyond reason... but in WAR i know that shamans will have to build up waagh! and that classes have action points or w/e with which to spend on abilities... I was curious whether classes like the bright wizard will have to concern themselves with building up something in order to perform. Seems like every class has their own purpose (ie. warrior priest - righteous fury, shaman - waaagh!, ironbreaker - grudge) and so on and so forth. Well i will be awaiting your replies!;)

Well, so far the ranged DPS careers seem pretty basic at first glance really. Their "gimmicks" are relatively simple so they aren't noticed as much. Squig Herder for example, has a pet. Engineers can set bombs and turrets in addition to just shooting with their weapon. Bright Wizards appear to have a decent amount of abilities that associate with some kind of burning mechanic. They have the ability to Ignite enemies. Burning opponents then allow other abilities to be used, for example, Detonate - causes an explosion around the target and consumes the burn effect.
Other than that, they basically just have fire. lots and lots of fire.
This (http://war.warcry.com/images/view/28837) tactic indicates at least 4 abilities dealing with this kind of burn mechanic. I'd say it's likely there are at least a few more.
- Oh, and I meant to clarify for you. Every class uses action points. All actions cost AP. This is a static number (recently seems to be at 500) that regenerate relatively fast in combat. If you've played City of Heroes, it's very much like endurance. If you're played WoW, it's like Rogue's energy, though I'd imagine it doesn't regen as fast as that. All the classes have some kind of 3rd mechanic that augments their playstyle. Some take the form of additional resource bars, such as Momentum, and Righteous Fury, others are additional play options to the class, such as having a Pet.

I have another question regarding that podcast... I have seen it before and was curious about the aspect of purchasing Tactic and Morale abilities and throughout the game you will never have enough points to purchase them all. I was wondering if whether it has been disclosed yet if you can like "respec" it and purchase all new tactics and morale abilities with the same character, or if you will have to play through the game again to customize your character differently with new things purchased in order to make a "better" character with the limited number of points you can spend on abilities... Sorry if i am being to curious and pursuing the matter to deeply...

No need to apologize, it is a very valid concern, though the search function would have revealed the answer. Yes, you can respec, and as many times as you want. It's also described as not being so hard that you have to kill a huge dragon to get a single respec point or something. However, we don't know the exact mechanic, possibly because they are probably still figuring out exactly how they want to do it.

I'm hoping/guessing that it's sort of like an XP bar you can build up to. I'm really hoping that it's not like WoW's system, or Tabula Rasa's. Although TR's system would work if the tokens were a LOT easier to get.

I highly doubt that they would refuse to implement some method of 'respeccing.' It's something expected in this day and age, especially with a game where you can sink as much time into a character as an MMO. Imagine being new and playing your character for 2 months, then realising it now sucks, or having it nerfed, and having to start over?

Yeah. Just look at Hellgate: London. So much of the flak that game is receiving is because it doesn't offer a respec system (among other things). For a game you'll be investing multiple hours into, respeccing is practically a forced necessity.
That said, the devs have confirmed that respecs will be available in the game for some sort of cost.
