Since I am new I am not sure if these have been posted... but I figured I would make the good gesture.
If you have not seen these novels, they might be a way to learn more about the dark evles and some ideas for role play.

I was a big fan of WoW and after playing a while I quickly picked up every novel written about Warcraft. I looked more into the future and I saw myself playing WAR. I figured I might as well get a headstart reading the Warhammer novels to grasp a concept of what makes each race an individual and how they acted. After reading the first darkblade novel I quickly jumped to the next, "Bloodstorm". I've read a good 11 Novels about Warhammer including Warhammer 40,000 series.
I highly recommend each and every book to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Druchii or just Warhammer in general.

Just don't use darkblade quotes or references when you argue about lore. People will rip your head off. It's a great story, but hardly a decent lore reference!

Im on reaper of souls.
The first two were good. The ending to the second book kinda just fizzled out to me.

Sigh, there are so many books a want to read but so little money in my wallet. :p
When it comes to lore I usually do this: I count something written in a book from, for example, the Black Library as canon as long as it doesn't contradict an army book. And the most recent army book always counts over an old one. This is also true for the Warhammer RPG books, if they contradict an army book, I go with the army book.
