How many of you guys saw this one (http://www.jumperthemovie.com/). Hmm. I can't decide if I like it.

Aw I thought it was going to be about wooly jumpers.

Not sure, could be interesting, could be awful. Will have to wait to see it before any real judgement :3

Hummm, starring "Anie" (Hayden Christensen) I thought his acting in Star Wars was atrocious (as were a lot of excellent actors....chalk in up to Lucas wanting everyone to act like a piece of wood???) but did a decent job in Shattered Glass so Im one the fence from an acting standpoint.

The concept looks promising but I have this nagging feeling I have seen a very similar show somewhere in the past. :???:

Looks interesting. Anyone know if the story is original or if its based on something? Personally I think it would make for an excellent TV show if there's a good story and its not just special effects eye candy with a crap story. I tend to not like how you can't really flesh out a good Sci-fi power/ability/artifact/concept in a short 2 hour movie and thus end up not doing it much justice. Which is why I tend to prefer good Sci-fi shows to movies.

I'm damn sure back when I was a kid there was a TV show on the BBC or ITV that was about kids who could teleport. Initially they could only teleport to a wierd ocean somewhere, but they got the hang of it eventually.

I also have no idea what it's called. Anyone know?

There's a novel with the same name, and thats where its based off.
The trailer is good but Ive got the nagging feeling that it could turn out so horrendously bad, although the concept is fresh and intriguing.
One more point, why do I keep thinking that this is a preview for the next Heroes episode?
