shaman...love the feel...hate the look

Does anyone besides me look at the shaman and think this. Yeah I like what its about and some of the abilities I've seen posted around are sweet. But look at them they lack the coolness factor in there gear as so far depicted.


to me they just look bad (so far) like lil hobbo goblins. I know shamans in general have a tattered look to them usually but imo they just look ugly as of now.

out of the videos ive seen of the shamans. They seem dang close to perfect, if not. Of course thats just my opinion.

Its a goblin... if it was sweet and not ugly-nasty-creepy as it is supposed to, then it would be Gismo.

as for me...shamans look awesom and they are funny. Their playstyle and overall feel is great. Dunno what will happen after beta relaunch but their actions and morale abilities also look fantastic.

Shoot man I think they look FANTASTIC. They keep to the lore and goblins are supposed to be evil, cunning, and tattered type beings.

I think they shaman is going to turn out great, and I will kill many man with my gobbo :mad:

I'm pretty happy with the globlin look and feel at the moment. Being a support class, I really love the size of the shaman comapred to the orcs. All those players that are accustomed to clicking players on the screen to target them versus using something like tab targeting are going to have a hard time finding us behind orcs, rocks and tall grass :p.

As for the armor, I can't recal which video it was, but I know it was on curse's website. Basically, it had the shaman in a single color brown robe, not hat/helm and basic staff and from the back (typical POV) I couldn't help but think it was a little Yoda running around. :lol: It was funny at first, but a simple brown robe is a little too dull as far as armor goes imo.

I think they are the best support class done so far.

The healing system that they have is excellent, they can nuke. I hear the play is fast paced. The look is awesome, sure the robes are tattered but they will look really really cool with all the extra stuff on the crappy robes. The skulls, the potions, the bags and the staff should complete the look. Also its a gobbo, he probably spends a good deal of time underground or in a cave, he never bathes, and hes an evil little . I think they about captured the homeless/evil/stinky look pretty well.

Yay for smelly little evil guys! The lower tier gear probably does make him look like a poor man's yoda but I'm sure the upper tier shaman gear will be cool enough.
