Though I know close to nothing about Warhammer lore, I was curious and searched up the Shadow Warrior, I could be wrong at this but look:http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://uk.games-workshop.com/highelves/miniature-gallery/images/shadow-warrior.gif&imgrefurl=http://uk.games-workshop.com/highelves/miniature-gallery/12/&h=167&w=92&sz=10&hl=en&start=2&tbnid=z_EfqFxmiEIHfM:&tbnh=99&tbnw=55&prev=/images%3Fq%3DShadow%2BWarrior%2Bwarhammer%26gbv%3D 2%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den

Sounds like a Squig herder without a pet, but unlike the Squig herder dosent mind getting up close and personal once in a while if needs be.

The Shadow Warriors are skilled both at range and melee, as you can see one in action during the Mark of Chaos trailer.
But being guerilla warriors, they will take the stealthy route, and prefer to keep a distance, only closing in when needed.

Much like Gondor rangers in Lord of the Rings. They ambush and fire a constant hail of arrows and close with their swords to finish off wounded enemies.

I said much like, not exactly like. And did I discover the word that makes Krulltak back off? This is like saying 'it' to the Knights of Ni.

Legolas.
(Yeah, I went there.)

No, because legolas has a tendency to use his blades more than his bow. He's not even close to a representation of his people.

Although to be fair, neither the Gondor rangers or Legolas had a penchant for razor-wire tripwires, bear traps, deadfalls, pit traps, and the frequent use of torture. Nor, I might add, are they fond of spiking people to cliffsides.
Give the Shadow Warriors respect for their ultraviolence.

Indeed, I hardly see Legolas performing mass crucifixion of prisoners. No other "good" Elf anywhere will capture you so they can kill you slowly.

I have returned! Like MacArthur to the Philippines, but with more Hats.

Shadow Warriors ARE High Elves. How the hell are they pansy?

Actually, you're thinking of that number in between 299 and 301, and any quotes related to said number.

Krulltak fear something? THIS IS MADNESS!
And I heard that Shadow Warriors share more in common with Druchii more than High Elves. I have no sources to back that up, I'm just throwin' it out there.

They live in the region of Uluthan where the majority of Druchii came from. Thus, they have a deep hatred for the traitors and their abandoning of their homeland.......which is now just a bunch of rubble, since the Dark Elves took all the cities with them.
So they're basically like............say, Dark Jedi. They aren't Sith, but they use many of the darker abilities of the Sith.

That's the whole point of the Shadow Warriors - they're the Nagarythi who broke with Malekith, composed of BOTH Phoenix King loyalists AND former Malekith supporters who were stranded when they didn't get a berth in the Black Arks. And they're the people who are forcibly "liberated" by their kin every time an invasion lands and Malekith rebuilds the city of Tor Anlec.
For them, the Druchii is a constant reminder of "there but for the grace of Asuryan go we," which is why they hate the Druchii more than anyone. Not only do they suffer first and hardest from invasion, but they're reminded of what they could have become.

Uggg, this is so cryptic. Now I have to do math.
299+301=600
600/2=300
300? Oh right I remember. It's that documentary...
