I haven't heard anything about a gas squig, I thought that was just an ability that made your squig explode to deal damage called "Gassy Squig" or something. Otherwise, I was under the impression that it was just basic tank like squig, melee DPS Squig, and Ranged DPS squig.

In one of the videos at lizpeg i believe the interview said there would be gassy squigs exploding squigs tanking squigs ect. but they didn't really go beyond that. It could be that its just abilities for the said squig, but the way they said it there would be more then just ranged DPS of shooting spines or spitting and tanking. Either way squig herder is going to be at least one character I make. I want to wait until the rest of the dark elves are released.

4 squigs so far i think, some normal looking one, a spiked one, a horned one, and a gas one.

Personally as far as I see it 4 is a great number, (for example) I don't want 12 squigs to perform one task each, Id rather have 4 squigs that perform 3 tasks each :)

In one of the videos in which Paul is cornered by a fan and forced to talk about squig types, he runs out of breath before he runs out of different kinds of squigs. It sounded like a whole lot more than just four.

It's really unclear at this time. However it sounds like a great deal of the class's creativity is wrapped in squig varieties and abilities. Which is fine with me.

most prob there will be 4 squigs like the 4 summons of warlock from wow( i know they are both dif games) and may be another last squig whihc is very powerful but lil control over it ..... plus teh 4 that are mentioned was there not a heavy armoured squig ??? for tanking.

1. normal squig
2. spkied squig: range dps
3. horned squig: melee dps
4. gass squig: dont know what this will do
5. armoured squig: for tanking purpose

but these are jsut assumption we dont realy know .... may the artwork is about squig mobs from some zone or instance cuz ive heard there is a night goblin area so they might have diff types of squigs + lets not foget the big huge squig that was seen in the zealot animation test video

Id almost expect a different type of squig per tier.
