Had a few threads about the up coming Wii game (Super Smash Bros Brawl) and just wondered who will play what char the most when they get it and why they will play them :)

Im a link man myself, Mainly cus i like to actually right with weapons. lol

Assuming certain characters get into the game, I usually play Captain Falcon. But there's no way I can not play Sonic.

All day. Every day. Against Mario, Luigi and Pikachu.

(I hate Pikachu...)

Ike man I played his game and beat it in a day. Its only an 8 hour game, but its good. So its Ike for me.

Ike was absurdly powerful in his game, I literally beat the last 5 levels with him alone.

Anyway C falcon has been my best character in the last two so I'll be sticking with him, if by some disaster he dosent make it in I'll probably go with Link, Ike, or sonic.

Zero Suit Samus isn't a selectable character (I would assume, though there's no definitive answer right now). The only way I know of using her is having Samus grab the Final Smash item and using Samus' Zero Laser, which destroys her suit (becoming usable weapons in battle) and giving you Zero Suit Samus.

And, Little Mac isn't a playable character. He's an Assist Trophy. It's like a pokeball, but with characters other than pokemon.

After I found out little mac was gonna be an assist trophy I began to question why they never put him in the series in the first place.

He's a boxer for pete's sake. He would've been awesome to have as an actual character.

Umm, the very first line after you click on the Zero Suit link is "When Samus destroys her Power Suit, she’s left with the Zero Suit."

They're two different characters in terms of their move-set: Samus is a moderate, balanced character and ZS Samus is a fast, agile attacker with slightly weaker moves but better utility.

So yes, they are two different characters. But with no official confirmation, they are not both separately selectable. You must be Samus to get to ZS Samus.

If I had the motivation to buy a Wii, and SSB is probably the sole game that could give me that, I'd play a mix of Captain Falcon and Link... and maybe Snake.

First two because, I basically played them to death in the first one. The most awesomest game evah for me 64. And Snake because I really wanna play MGS4 heh.

Bowser looks like he's going to be a beast in this one. :( And I don't mean that in the literal sense cause he's a turtle. >_> I mean he looks like he's going to be insane.

Sonic sounds like alot of fun. Of course I'll have to check out the new Link and see how similar Ike is to Roy from Melee. Of course, I can't really make my decision while theres still characters to be revealed.

Lol, in story mode, Zelda gets taken out by by wario in a spiffy CGI. And by taken out I mean owned! Apparently Peach and kirby don't like her enough to help... dumb pink losers, both of 'um! Looks like Wario is gonna freakin Rock!

Pfftt... I could give a rats about story mode, always bores the crap out of me, I just skip the scenes and play, screw the rest. Fight game story modes are always so frickin' lame :mrgreen: Albeit, I do make an exception for Soul Calibur, for some reason that one I don't mind so much :rolleyes: Anyhoo', is that story mode for Wario or the overall story of the game? Because the story changes pending the character you play, usually.

It's for all. The story mode isn't played by one single char, you switch off between chars. For instance you play as kirby first, beat the boss, then play pan for the next story arch, ect.

I trust smash bros to have a kick story based on from what I've seen. We all know SSB is far from your average fighter ;-)
