Unreal Tournament 3 and Gears of War PC

Don't know about any of you but Epic Games is about to unleash the biggest can of WHOOP this holiday season.

First off we have the newly released Unreal Tournament 3 website which is now in full swnig. I must say it is totally ownage and rips every other webpage out there a new BUM HOLE!

Plus the game features an epic single player campaign to boot. Lets not forget that you can use the new Unreal 3 Editor as well.

Next we got Gears of War for the PC. 5 new acts and a whole new chapter. Co-op play and online modes plus an editor. Higher resolution, revised level, and an overall better experience. Hell yeah! :cool:

I'll probably get UT3 for me PS3, just so I get some more use out of the damn thing. I just hope PS3 players and PC players won't be segregated from playing each other.

I believe somewhere I read that PS 3 and PC players will be seperate due to the issues it would create and they don't see it as something they want to add anymore.

Why? Apart from the few unofficial controllers coming out to alleviate the problems console users wont stand a chance against the old mouse/keyboard controls.

On a side note I played gears of war on my flatmates xbox and though it was a decent game it was stupidly short and stupidly easy even on the hardest difficulty setting and there's no depth in the slightest in multiplayer.

I'll give ut3 a good try as they've claimed to be going back to the original style of play from the 1st game but if it's anything like any of the sequels I'll be giving it a wide berth.

Can't stop playing ET:QW currently, a multiplayer game which actually manages to be fast and fun whilst keeping a very wide array of features and tricks to learn (though most people wont give it the time and play it incorrectly then whine it isn't like tf or bf (which it never tried to be)) :3

Aren't they splitting up the players so console users only play against other console users? I like QW too, used to play the old Enemy Territory a lot. I've been too busy with the Hellgate: London beta though so I'm still learning the various maps in QW. One thing I miss though is the Indiana Jones-like german accented English from the original, but then it's also funny to hear the Stroggs say "Thanks" and "Owned" etc :)
