Anything that fits with the lore. I like titles you get from completing some epic PvE quest or maxing your faction out with the gnomes of wrath by killing 70,000 fairies (latter may not be included in Warhammer lore, but it could be...)

The harder the title is to get the better. It's not really so much the title that impresses me it's the prestige that comes with a tough one.

How about "the supporter" or "the supply provider" or "the home guard" or something for RvR-avoiders?

Well you don't have to display the title I believe, so that won't really be a problem.

Drunkard- For becoming intoxicated 50 times
Merchant- Selling 200 items on the AH (or w/e trade system is in place)
Savior- Healing someone at 1% hp
Nomad- Explore every zone
Crippler- One-shot someone who is equal to your level
Assassin- Defeat an enemy player without getting hit once
Brawler- Win 20 duels
Raider - Raze every enemy town/city/capitol

All of these titles would be applied like this... Say you complete a titles goal and get the title, then you would be allowed to select it and apply it to your name

It should be that as you explore and develop your chars story thru the ToK a side quest, "You are nearly there! Do this and get the title"

eg: You've killed 400 wolves ... get a new quest "you are nearly there! You will be elligible for the wolfbane title if you kill 100 more wolves."

That way you get a title cuz of your actions ... not dhave your actions depend on what title you want.

You know, that player that's always out in front of everyone else that everyone on the otherside has targeted just waiting to unload that first salvo on. Yeah that's me....Mr. Cannon Fodder!!!

Or if you regularly do quests in the morning you get a title like "Early Riser"... those kinds of things.

I'm really rather fond of the miser title suggested. Titles awarded for long hours/days of consecutive play or play with very short log out periods would be welcome. Like the "unwashed" or "sleepless" suggestions. Actually, I would also enjoy having a title based on self-kills like those caused by recklessness on a Sorceress' part. Loved the idea relating to alts and characters that remain at low levels for extended periods of time.

It also occurred to me that titles could be given based on an individual's use of tactics. Whether it be a title awarded because they often change their tactics, loading new ones for different situations, or for rarely alternating tactics. The "versatile" or the "creature of habit" come to mind, as possibilities. Similarly, they could be given titles based on which tactics they use, to reflect their playstyle.

I like this idea a lot, killing in the morning or night and crafting vice versa could really engross us in our characters, and reallllllly aid in the development of the RP Schtuff over in those dedicated servers. I'm not a fan of them, though I can see how these titles could really help a player build a story.

I don't think there should exist any ToK titles which cannot be gained after you've passed a certain point in your characters progression. That would cause people to look at their characters as Incomplete and gimped for the rest of their career. Even if the titles serve no actual purpose. (See: CoH Badges)

The X-man (Used the letter "X" 1000 times in /tells or other chatchannels)

Also some titles that you can win or loose from/to other players.
The big spender (the player that has used the most gold in the intire realm)
is probably AFK (the player that has most AFK-time in the intire realm)

There will be negative titles. If you do something which is not "for the realm" to long you basically get funny bad titles like "the cowardly". Like if you NEVER kill anyone but die constantly, you can get a title like "of the cursed hands", that would imply you are missing the target or can't do much with your hands. Titles won't be from only achievements that are good, but they will always be aimed to make other fun small chuckle, also anyone can't just go in and look at the titles, you will put them on display. You can't be called "Runix the cowardly nerd of the cursed hands", it's just "Runix of the cursed hands" or something like that.

I really like the idea of gaining new titles from combinations of the ones you've previously earnt. Awesome. 300,000 kills, however? Jesus christ, that's a lot of kills. I don't think I've got anywhere near that amount in any MMO. I think I only have somewhere near 20k in BF2, and around 50k in World of Warcraft. 300k is an epic feat that would take years and years to accomplish.

yeah, those were pretty bad, to be fair i was trying to scrape up decent names.

as the first one i couldnt think of what to call it. basically the person has abandoned their own army, and is a traitor to some extent (works more for destruction, maybe not so much for order)
I was playing UT3 just before i posted this, by life i mean without dying/logging out/leaving an RVR zone.
The one about never leaving a racial pairing mean,s like, never leaving the dark elf area as a dark elf, like not going to the chaos/empire pairing, may be more boring, but if people enjoy that, why not give them a title for it? would have to play X ammount of time or sack a city a couple times first of course.
The herald ones were the dps versions, i was going to add healing ones later.
Lord of anihalation...he...i realy couldnt think of any realy good title name, so i just chucked in some cheesy placeholder. it sounded better than "best player".
maybe it should be modified, and allow for extra points if defending/attacking a keep, or scenario goal. It is entirely possible a black guard could take this title, tho easier for, say, a sorc/witch elf.
im just saying things i would like to see. i would never achieve any of them, just things it would be cool to see, and i will not type "like" again :p.

I can't think of a title for it so anyone after this post can go ahead but I would like to see a few for when you amass a certain amount of in game money one for being rich one for being really rich and one for being insanely rich.

They should most certainly be race specific.

You couldn't have a "Champion of the Ravenhost" title if you were a Greenskin I don't think. Sure you could sack Altdorf a dozen times and complete a lot of chaos NPC quests but you are still a Bloody Sun Boy and not a warrior of the Ravenhost.

Same goes for ones that are a little less specific in nature. Killing 15 enemy players in succession without dying should be something like "Grand Slaughterer" for Chaos, "Big 'Orra" for Greenskins and "Noble Paladin" for Empire and stuff like that.

There's gotta be a title for a few things, including killing a player while being chickened. That's gonna be my personal goal when the game comes out. Rank up to Tier 2, go back and attempt to assassinate rank 1 players with my Beak of Skill +1. Maybe Matida, the Chicken Goddess, will shine her belevolence upon this task of mine. Praise Matilda! I am your follower!

I would like titles that a very few people only could get, say 2-3 or even 1 person. That would fell epic and people would look up to you. The "scrab lord" title in wow is something like that. And the arena titles like vengeful gladiator that the number one in every ladder got.

And maybe a title that jumps around when you kill them, ex. be the first person to slaughter someone from the other realm on your server. You get a title "randomname" you have it until someone kill you, then he/she will have it until he/she gets killed.

The Sweeper: Kill three people in a row with two or less seconds between each kill. They must be auto-attacks or they did not die at the same time from a multi-hit move (like an AoE)

The Damned Lucky: Win the top prize in a PQ while in the lower 3/4 percentile. (They also get a semi-large four-leaf clover trophy)

Revolution: Complete 360 360 degree turns. (Gets a gyroscope trophy)

Schmoozn': Send 1000 private messages. (Gets somewhat large envelope trophy)

Save Face: Try to perform a dance 100 times. (Get a music box with a spinning ballerina as a trophy)

Jimmylegs: Run non-stop for 5 minutes

The Catfighter: Slap someone, and get slapped back. (Gets a mangy cat pelt trophy)

RVR titles will almost certainly be around the "big" milestones like 1000, 5000, 10000, 25,000, etc... both in total players killed and depending on how many of a given race you've killed.
