Yes, definitely actually. It's confirmed that all tank classes will be allowed great weapons.

While i love the good old sword and board set, i love running running around encased in armor, wielding a huge arse hammer :D

it has been confirmed that we'll get 2h weapons... but will we get special abilities just for them?

We know that chosen and swordmasters both have abilities which are only usable with a great weapon, and we also know of a black orc tactic that only works with two-handers. Taking those abilities as precedence, ironbreakers will probably have a few great weapon abilities too.

I m pretty sure you will get some nice 2 hand only abilities...

I think i saw one of the abilities for High Elf tank... that sword guy. Dont remember the website i got it from, but i can remember that that ability would do a 1 target knockback with medium/short range only when you use 2 hand sword.

A guy who tried out the Chosen at a games event mentioned the Chosen had abilities that could only be performed with a two-hander (and others only with a shield). I wouldn't be suprised to see most or all tanks having abilities that work like that.
