all in all i think shadow warriors look awesome however am i the only one who think they would look even cooler with hoods instead of helmets. or perhaps an option that lets you put a hood up. dont get me wrong though i wont mind if they dont get hoods coz they still look awesome.
what you guys think?

they do have hoods, i believe it is shown in either one of paul's videos or videos of the month. i guess its for highter level. but i agree, if they dont have hoods, it would be so sad.

They remind me of the DE assassians in many ways.
The hood would add to my reminder.

I hope the hoods come sooner rather then later. They just fit!

The tier 4 drawing looks pretty much exactly how I imagined shadow warriors.
I'm very happy with it.

Yeah no doubt a hood is needed in any "ranger" style class. Especially for how dark and sneaky the Shadow Warriors are. They will definitely be my first Alt

They look totally awesome.

Yea they look cool with the hoods. I Saw one in a video today wearing a hood. But anyway they kind of remind of an combination of hunters and rogues in WoW but without a pet. They also look better then both hunters and rogues.
If I ever roll an alt, it will be a shadow warrior.
But nothing can compare to muh big bad black orc!

while we are talking about the look of the shadow warrior, does anyone happen to know how much we will be able to customize the look? like thier armor or maybe just the colors or anything at all lol

I'm just worried that this class will turn into the omg legolas type class that was the night elf hunter of WoW.

Neither Shadow Warriors or night elf hunters necessarily bear any resemblance to Legolas past the bows and pointy ears, the character is nothing more then what the player makes of it.
In the case of my own night elf hunter that would be a depressed, emotionally scarred war veteran that hunts every being of evil with a vengeance.
( I had never even heard of shadow warriors when I thought of that backstory, I swear! )
...I have a feeling I'm going to like Shadow Warriors a lot.

I didn't mean they'd resemble Legolas, I was simply referring to the fact that every little child who has seen the Lord of the Rings films feels the need to try and be Legolas and play an elf with a bow.

*shrug* nothing like cannon fodder to keep the hated druchii occupied as the true shadow warriors prepare to tear into them with a volley of arrows.

I wonder where you are getting that from. People who really want to be like Legolas probalby play the LOTRE MMO anyway. There haven't been so many Legolas wannabies in WOW either, that is just making up things. The night elf hunter is played by a lot of people for a lot of reasons.

Why do you think the dark elves didnt get a class like the shadow warrior? They didnt even get a crossbow user.

Because Mythic hates us. :(
I'm kidding, of course. I just feel the Dark Elves could have been done so much better. But, I got a Witch Hunter, so I can't complain. The Shadow Warrior (with hood instead of helmet) looks awesome, and will very likely be an alt.

Yeah, I kind of feel bad for the DE people. But they were so divided on many of these classes that no matter which way things went there would have been upset people.
While the disciple might be lorebreaking I personally believe it would be a great class to play.
Witch Hunters look cool, curious how they will work out in massive battles when they are built to focus entirely on one target.
And yes, the shadow warriors look amazing to me. The other HE classes are so over the top with their flowing robes and smooth looks, then you have this darker looking shadow warrior and his style. Its absolutely going to be my first alt.

Well, you're right there. There were alot of different opinions on the DE classes, and some people are completely satisfied, while others are dismayed. That's just the way it is. The disciple is a travesty in my opinion, though quite a lot of people seem to like it.

I'm guessing a lot like a WoW rogue. They do massive dmg as well, focussing on one target. We'll see, I guess. ;)

Flowing robes and smooth looks is what HE are all about, which is why I'm not too fond of them. The dark, harder-looking shadow warrior and their whole background are so much more appealing than the other classes.

Well Illya, WoW didnt have massive RvR. Yes it will most definately be like the rogue but question is will it be as effective?

In truth, I have played very little WoW pvp. It doesn't appeal to me. I haven't played RvR either, though. My pvp experience is from LOTRO. I must say I really enjoyed that.
However, on that note, the class that would be most similar to a Witch Hunter there, the Champion, wasn't really the most dangerous threat to my beloved Warg (I was so evil). Hunters (which are very similar to what I expect from the Shadow Warrior) were lethal. So yeah, it remains to see how the Witch Hunter will fare in epic battles. Picture this, however: dozens of high tier Witch Hunters racing across the field, pistols blazing and swords flashing, roaring Sigmar's name as they charge. Now that's an epic battle. :D

The Shadow Warriors look fantastic!
I must say that the high elves have come out very well on the class front.
Although the Archmage and the Swordmaster's style is a little flowery they still retain character and cool factor, this twinned with the much more rough-and-ready Shadow Warriors and with the highly likely White Lion's should make for very happy Asur.

I agree completely. Its quite possible I will create alts of atleast three of the HE classes before trying one of the other order race classes.

I think Withc Hunters will do fine. They do massive damage to one target, kill it, and move on to the next target. Rinse and repeat.
Considering the immense hatred of the Druchii that Shadow Warriors have coupled with their darker tendencies, I think it'll be very interesting to see what trophies and other customisation options we get :)

You've put my thoughts into words before I was capable of doing so myself. XD
Thanks. :)
That said, the concepts are really good. Even if they're subtle, there's enough variation, and it all has that gruff feel that I expect from Shadow Warriors.
I definitely like the job that the concept art team has done for all the High Elf classes so far. I think they've successfully nailed all the classes thus far, and I have high hopes for what they do with White Lions, or whatever the last class may be.
I keep flip-flopping between classes, and with the good classes we've already got, I still find it hard to decide what I'd like to play.
