The Hordes of Chaos

From the warped realm of the Chaos Wastes come hordes of warriors and evil loyal to the four deadly powers. Led by Champions and Daemons of Chaos, the armies will not stop until the entire world is destroyed and controlled by Chaos. Some of the Chaos loyalists dedicate themselves to worship one specific Dark God: Tzeentch, the Changer of Ways and the God of magic; Khorne, the Blood God and the Lord of Skulls; Nurgle, Lord of Decay and Pestilence; and Slaanesh, the Dark Prince and God of corruption and pleasure. Other Chaos worshipers follow Chaos Undivided and do not commit themselves to any one particular deity. Each Chaos Power awards a particular type of gift upon its chosen followers. That is why Chaos is highly adaptable and can be an unpredictable-but-lethal bad guy.

As it says on the GW Workshop site, "Chaos is a fickle mistress, however. Some who follow the dark powers are blessed with great strength and unimaginable power. Others are cursed with debilitating mutations and eventually devolve into mindless, gibbering Chaos Spawn."

The Hordes of Chaos include mortal leaders such as Lords, Champions, and Sorcerers who command Warriors, Knights, and Mauraders. Daemonic Daemon Princes or a Greater Daemon of the Ruinous Powers command daemonic forces including Khorne Bloodletters, Nurgle Plaguebringers, Tzeench Horrors, and Slaanesh Daemonettes.

The Charter of Wolf Pack

The goal of Wolf Pack is to be the baddest!

Not the bad as in worst, but great as in succeeding in everything we do. WP is to remain a small company playing really solid, and have the most fun working together. We will stay small and get along with others in the company, that way we can have the most fun and be effective. Working together always supporting each other, carrying out what is best for the company the future will be fun and rewarding. WP will help others along the way; we are not uncaring and passive. To our allies we want to be remembered as nice and helpful. In WP we behave professionally, and when we can we help fellow players.

Our starting expectations are to avoid bickering of a large guild to remain a small happy company with guts. Starting small to build a solid foundation of the company. WP will be careful choosing members. We can be very great and accomplish more with fewer people and we won’t lose our small company atmosphere. Our members play the best and in the end we are the bad guys!

Wolf Pack Rules

Wolf Pack’s rules are written so that everyone knows what is expected of them and roles are known. The goal of the rules is to protect the investment and contributions that everyone has made to WP. By staying small and getting along with others in the Company, and keeping it that way we can achieve the goal set in our charter, to be the baddest.

Attendance: Real life comes first, but when you are in game the guild is your family. We help each other out and are expected to contribute.

Public Conduct: Members of WP must remember at all times that they wear the Wolf Pack tag, and they are representatives of our company. Members should always be polite to their fellow gamers, stay out of arguments on public chat channels.

Commitment: Being a member of Wolf Pack requires dedication, your character cannot belong to more than one company in Warhammer Online.

Guild Roles

Company Leader: Ahriman is the guild leader and his first priority is the well being of the Company.

Officers: The leaders act as a leadership presence in the absence of the company Leader. Leaders often lend a hand when organizing and directing groups and raids, distributing loot, handling issues etc. If an officer feels that the Company Leader made a bad decision, or a member has come to them with an issue, then the Officer will bring it to the Company Leader to be resolved.

Members: Make up the core of the company, their hard work and dedication makes Wolf Pack.

Initiate: New members go through an initiate period to prove themselves, other members outrank them when asking for company assistance

Wolf Pack New Member Process

To apply for membership with Wolf Pack, an applicant must:
- Plan to play Warhammer:Age of Reckoning in 2007.
- Be a part of Chaos.
- and be interviewed by an officer or guild leader.

Once these requirements have been met, if the interviewer feels the candidate has the potential to be a valuable Company member, they will be invited as an initiate. A post is then made on the Wolf Pack thread so that members can discuss and vote.

- An initiate spends a few weeks of getting used to our rules and policies, and most importantly, getting to know the members of the guild.
- During this time company members provide feedback in the Wolf Pack thread.
- Feedback is in turn provided back to the initiate so that they have an idea of how they're doing.
- After a few weeks, the initiate is usually either welcomed as a new member of Wolf Pack, or turned down.

I have only got so far as naming the Company and setting my own personal goals to furthur develope the Company. This will be RvR and I havn't played RvR before.

I want to be Chaos! The Majority of people that join the company first will decide the way the pack will be fighting on Warhammer Online.

I'd join, as the idea sounds OK, what little idea there is. Expand it a bit...

More detail = better, same as always round here. Except for exceptions. There's always some of them.

We could explore and release deamon weapons from crypts, fly around swiftly moving faster than our prey. Assasinate prominent members of the Empires community in staged raids. Perhaps after earning the favor of our Gods we will be bestowed powers and rise to deamonhood. Raids into forbidden libraries where artifacts can be retreived to be studied. Much can come from other Realms resources. How do you feel about that type of Company?

Sounds alright I guess. Not sure about the daemonhood bit. I mean, I can powerplay easily with a crippled snotling, so if I had a daemon...

There are a lot of possibilities when playing Chaos. with four Gods and also Mark of Chaos Undivided!

Sorry, Chaos isn't my kind of thing.

Good luck however.

Thanks Rimner, I think I'll need it.

Hmmm. For a guild you really need guild aims etc, also a chain of command. Who is in charge? If he gose missing who takes over? A bit of history into the guild, how it started etc. Just my two cents :D !

I agree with Jaboc. Sit down, think a bit, then write a full essay on the clan's purpose, composition, ranking, methods and maybe a bit of history. You definately need more than you've got now. If you want I'll be happy to help.

just some friendly advice

40k chaos and fantasy chaos are similar but not totally

in terms of this forum and the RP forum let me just give you a little advice. 1 tzeentch worshiping guy to another fellow in evil.

when starting a guild, there must be someone in charge. this means the guy hoping to get on the path to daemonhood. there is only 1 guy at the top. thats just how it is. if you have 2 guys, they are goign to have to elevate 1 so someone is getting stabbed in the back....probably right before that whole elevation thing.

everyone else is a flunky to the 1 head guy. their SOLE purpose in life is to get the main guy to the top of the demonic food chain.

finally in fantasy there is only so many places to hide, and there aren't that many. most people who follow chaos of one form or another NEVER do it openly until they have gathered enough power to destroy a major city. So rampant flying or use of magic or whatever is a quick way to get killed. Sneaky, secretive. thats the chaos way.

TZEENTCH:
always with the plottng. also they don't auto cast spells. thats a game mechanic not a fluff one. in terms of a fluff mechanic. it would be more appropriate that they CAN cast spells at all, or can cast larger spells. (note i said can cast, not can control. just because you can doesn't mean its a good idea)

NURGLE:
father nurgle. you don't choose to follow nurgle pre se. he sort of chooses you. your town gets hit by plague, then you pray for your life.....and lo and behold, father nurgle hears you and thats how it works. no one goes out saying......"man nurgle is sexy....i hope i get the plague" They typically are tougher but that is because their bodies are so horribly wasted as normal pain isn't even worth noting. it is hard to hide that you follow nurgle.

SLANNESH:
this one is the opposite. houses, drug houses, gambleing halls, pretty much anything decadent.... you DO go "man sleeping with 2 girls is awesome....i wonder what it would be like to get 4....or more...at the same time.....in pudding"

typically these people are lavish and excessive. they can hide more freely than most.

KHORNE:
blood for the blood god. not all khorne worshipers are berzerkers. berzerkers are khorne worshipers...most of the time. pit fighters, people obsessed with watching violence, warriors. they can all love khorne so long as they like to take heads.

we know what type follow khorne.

NOTES of alligence

Tzeentch hates nurgle. tzeentch loves to plot and plan, nurgle loves desease and to disrupt the natural order of things

tzeentch hates khorne, khorne hates magic.

Slanneshi hates khorne. slanneshi is about elegance and decadence. khorne is about brutality and a single minded focus of taking skulls for khorne.

slannesh hates nurgle. nurgle is pretty much the opposite.

now Khorne and nurgle typically dont HATE eachother, though a plague has removed a berzerker champion more than once, and berzerkers kill off the blessed plagues in a town before they can fully take root. so they can co exist, but not very long.

MARKS

no one bears a mark of chaos. they are foul and ruinous contracts with powers you shouldn't be dealing with. to bear a mark of chaos is to have forfitted your soul. ONLY the head person bears a mark of chaos. Even Calysto my Slannesh mage did NOT have a mark of chaos. for a mortal to gaze upon a mark would induce vomiting, insanity, plague, fits of spasims and other foul results. even the most hardy would be discomforted....exceptions are those who are insane, wardancers, slayers, flagglents, the like. or the most pure of heart, grail knights, rune makers, heads of priestly orders.

also if they have a mark, they NEVER EVER show it or tell anyone. and when they do its because they are about to be elevated or turned into a spawn.

typicaly chaos worshipers are on the quick path to power. Most characters here are strong, chaos worshipers can take on a guild on their own. they have influence where they shouldn't and can use power that no one else can gifted to them by their gods. chaos cultist are nothing but sacrifice to them, stepping stones on the path to power, to be used and stepped upon.

hope this gives you some further info on the path of chaos.

After reading newsletter #2 I can say that there will be deamonic gifts that you can receive, and the rank of deamonhood. So please if anyone wants to chat about any Chaos related topics feel free! Thanks in advance.

There are not enough details about WAR to make solid rules about loot for Wolf Pack. There is still a lot of time before WAR is released and tons of information to come in upcoming newsletters.

[EDIT] I would also like to add that the discussion of guild scenarios are only for guild chat. We will not make those ideas we have public.

Greetings Wolf Pack:

I have seen your information on the Guilds listing page, and have made a note regarding your guild.

I look foward to your impending guild RP thread.

As a note, as your guild is smaller and relatively new, it is acceptable for your guild to participate in a "co-guild RP" where the wolf pack would work along side another guild or against if the thread sees fit. the main point of course is to get the guild participating in the RP forum to represent the guild, rather than a solo RP.

if you already have a guild thread you can reply here as i browse the guild threads, or PM me the guild thread name.

THankyou for helping further the WAR RP community.
Isilecet.

That's a big 10-4, over.

I want to discuss what people would want to accomplish in game. The accomplishment in WAR I want is to create a place the Company can call home.
