Have you had your fill of Warhammer Online related images this week? I didn't think so. Here's two more screenshots showing the ongoing battle of a group of Orcs and Dwarfs. Though I think the Dwarfs are outnumbered.

Those are old, they were in Gamestar or something. Maybe they're better quality versions but I definately remember seeing both of those pics a long time ago.

Doesn't really matter though, does it?
Also, the one to the left have character shadows, which makes it atleast fairly recent. Shadows look good, too. (could be image-resizing though :p)
Now, where's that IK to avoid hoovering/buried feet? :p

Actually they were in PC Gamer. I had to shrink them down a bit because they were orginally 25mb's in size.

A few insights that can be gleaned from the pics. It's 4:4 mele PvP with 1 Orc sniper kiting at distance. The left pic shows a bit of mele close range magic being used. It's showing snapshots of sub-fullgroup sized mele combat without magic being a major unbalancing factor in this example.
Another thing of note, all the character models are different. This shows a diversity already in character models available to the Devs for testing. Also shows that armor dyes are either not used in the picture or at that time were not implemented yet. The overall rendering quality is comparable to high quality settings standard in DAoC. No real surprises jumped out at me there in comparison to DAoC.

what about the giant dwarf in the distance in the right picture lolD?
PS: they're not new...even if i've never seen them before:D the clue? in the right screen shot, look at the "slayer" dwarf dude fighting the black ork with a scimitar and at the orc in the middle of the screen shot, standing between the "shaman" ork and the dwarf with the round shield...they were in the same position in a previous screen shot, with the "alone ork" in front of and the fighting slayer and black dude in the distance:D

still some nice unseen screenshots:D good work Garthilk!
PPS: looking closely, those screenshots are all about the same battle, just from different points of view...

Looks great, I'm really curious how combat will evolve! I hope way better then WOW. But i don't understand do we control 1 person or a regiment or an entire army?

You play as ONE character. You might have a pet or whatnot (like Warlocks and Hunters in WoW) but you only play as a single character.

Thanks for the clear answer. I'm very curious how WAR will be. I hope way better and mature then WOW (stopped playing WOW months ago, it was all about getting items).
Cheers.

I think the graphics look spot on with the WAR world. Already I feel as if I can't wait to play it.
For some reason I like the orc standing on a tree stump, don't ask me why.
I'm just curious what the armor rating is on nekkid dwarven chests..? Does body hair add to it?
I love some of the character models. The orcs are completely ugly, of course, being that they're ugly green-faced orcs. But the dwarves are looking pretty awesome. I'm interested in seeing more examples of how progressing in the game changes the look of your character.

I will be the first to admit that I laughed (and again) pretty hard at Vervayne's comment! :D
Anyways, those screenshots look pretty neat, but I'm still waiting for my Dark Elf and High Elf screen shots. All that is holding me over now is watching the last part of the trailer over and over now. :?

Has anyone seen the trailers for Warhammer: Mark of Chaos yet? They look sweet as hell and i think it will be a hard choice as to which one to buy first.. Course that will depend on which one comes out first i guess!!! http://www.3dgamers.com/games/warhammermarkchaos/downloads/ :-D

Did anyone notice the Ork on the screen in the first photo. On both of his shoulders there is a spike with a skull on it. Does anyone think that's what the devs are talking about when they say the more dwarves a player has killed the more decoration an ork gets? In the second photo at the lower left hand of the screen near his bone mallet the same ork has some sort of grey object coming from his belt. It looks like a hand but I'm willing to bet it's a beard.
