What do you call a mixed group of sorcerers and sorceresses?
Probably sorcerers, the masculine often takes precedence in the English language.

Wouldn't it have to be spelled Sorceruss to make the plural Sorceri? :)
Another question would be what do you call a group of them? There's a gaggle of geese, pack of dogs, pride of lions and unfortunately we already have a murder of crows.
I vote that DE should steal that group title from crows, it fits them better lol
Edit - Changed my mind in favor of either of Malal's suggestions above ;)

Sorcerer + sorceress = 2 sorcerers. They're like priests that way.

The official WAR class name is Dark Elf Sorceress per the newsletter. So I don't care what your virtual chromosomes are .. your a Sorceress to me. Why just because there are males must we use the masculine? Come on boys ..embrace your inner goddess.
What do you call a mixed group of sorcerers and sorceresses?
A Coven .. perhaps a Cabal if they are all males.

Gotta love lazy shortening of words when it actually comes in handy.

I don't think the proper use of sorcerer/sorceress has anything to do with pride in one's gender. A male is properly called a sorcerer, a female a sorceress. The plural for a mixed group is, I believe, sorcerers.

According to dictionary.com its Sorcerors for male, and Sorceresses for female.
I think you would keep it male because thats the basis of the word (sorcerors), regardless if there are females in the group or not.

I think Sorceri sounds good... because both Sorcerors and Sorceresses are equally a part of the game you know? So the name should represent both of them equally, not one over the other. Especially since the Sorceresses are more recognized, they shouldnt be pushed out of the class name's limelight just because of a language rule.

They're not "pushed out of the class name's limelight" or any such thing. Sorcerers is just the proper plural form. It has nothing to do with gender bias or anything of the sort.
It's just a word people, c'mon.

Well, if we do the latin approach (since Sorceri seems like a plural derived from latin), then it'd have to be Sorceri, as the plural always becomes male as soon as one male is involved. For example, if you have three female servants (serva, servae in plural) and one male (servus, servi in plural), then you'd call them "servi".
As afaik, the masculine often takes precedence in the English language as well, it'd be Sorceri for lack of a better term. Or just plain "Sorcerers".

It is just as Duty said. The male version takes precedence in the use of a specific word. Sorcerers would be the correct wording.

Who knew the Druchii had so many feminine activists?
I'd call them a group of quick but pleasant death to the unlucky individual who caught a glimpse of them.
