I'm assuming all chaos classes will mutate at some point, and it would seem obvious that the magus mutates or rather merges with his disc. I could imagine there being a mutation based on career development, like a more offensive type of magus mutates along with his disc into having spikes growing from his disc and so on.

Of course there is its called the MARAUDER, the mutating is the marauders special triat and if they made all chaos careers mutate it would diminish want for the Marauder... which would be a terrible mistake from my point of view.

All of chaos does mutate. This would explain the use of armor which totally covers the body and face as we progress. No one wants to see our three breasts or four eyes, so we hide them behind our armor.

Visually, they mutate. Not in-game mechanically like the marauder.

We wear armor for a different reason, also, the only mutation we really get is the third eye. No, what we Magi get is decay (Ironically Nurglish). The strain of channeling the Warp gradually decays and wears away our body. We wear the armor to hold our body together and prevent its' falling apart.

I'm not so sure visual mutations will happen. A player could be dissapointed if the character they made at creation looks completely different at max level. There would have to be options for the mutations and probably the option to turn it off completely/change it.

Lol I doubt there will be an option like that if Magus mutate at all (not informed as much on that matter)... But I do agree on that, it would be tarded if your character ended up completely changed on higer lvls... I'm guessing there will be (if there will be) some minor mutations, considering the disc perhaps or something minor.. In my opinion, the mutations should only make it look better and more recognisable, not ugly...

Well considering the disc itself is a separate demon I doubt that you will merge with it. I don't forsee the magus mutating too much, if any. Like someone said no one wants to see three breast and four eyes (and this is the male version!).

Why would you not want to see mutations, aren't they considered blessings from Tzeentch?

Also orcs mutate as they progress (by growing and getting darker skin), bright wizards take on traits of the fire as they advance so I think it's only logical that all followers of the changer of ways gradually change over time.

Dwarfs get longer beards as they level, Orks get bigger, Chaos humans get... Chaosier? Anyway, expect to see something purely aesthetic (not effecting gameplay) in terms of mutations for ALL chaos careers as they level.
