These seem like they will be the various offhands that zealots will be able to use - you're not just limited to skulls!

I think they look pretty good to be honest. I thought that a skull was a little bit too plain for Tzeentch.

Personally I like the shrunken and stitched head.
Will these be options picked upon creation or gear drops throughout the game?

I would be very surprised if it was decided on creation. They're most likely items with stats like any other equippable gear.

I agree with axxar. I don't think these will be options upon creation of the character, but are ones you find through out the game as you level. It might be that you start out with the plain skull, and as you progress, there are cooler looking 'offhands'.

I agree with the above posters, they're most likely just another piece of equipment. They are quite cool though, hand't seem them in a while. I quite like the eyes, espically the lantern-like one. If it blinks, and it does something during spell casts, then that would be an awesome piece of gear right there.

While it's nice to know their will be options, skulls still look better than those options to me.
Now if a jar with a High Elf or Dorf aborted fetus were available I'd certainly take that.

You're right, I can see that it would be a gear piece. My concern then is that within tiers nearly every Zealot might have similar offhands. It'd be nice to have the choice for variety's sake.

I'd like to have some thing like the cestus weapon from guild wars as an offhand.

It's early, and honestly I don't feel like going hunting for the info, but wasn't something said that a zealot can dual wield daggers but if the player wishes they could hold the trinket in their off hand? For the boost to marks, etc. So if you want to give your zealot a bit more combat punch you could wield an offhand dagger for twice the stabby goodness.

Duel-wielding support class? Somehow I doubt it yet somehow I don't. Seems like something that would never happen but as the game is coming together, we are seeing more and more unique concepts.
We shall see. (Notice that some of the trinkets were daggers)

Doubtful. Most of the zealot casting animations have them using that offhand idol. Dont see that working the same with a dagger in hand.

I don't remember reading/hearing any such thing about a Zealot dual-wielding either. Theres so much out there I coulda missed it, but I'm pretty sure this is the case of your brain making stuff up (don't worry, mine does it all the time).

Could be. Yep, most definitely could be.
Still, I definitely know I heard somrthing to that effect, but perhaps not in relation to the zealot. I'll dig around and see what I can come up with.

I'm still not buying any of this "Zealot is good at melee!" hoopla.

And no said said it was, dual-wielding dosn't have to mean good at melee, though it usally does.

With the release of disciples people should no longer be trying to hold on to some crazy belief that zealots have melee skill. They have the basic attack everyone gets at level 1.

damnit... love evrything about this class... exept that dagger and off-hands...
i want a staff, a dark sword, or just sumthing else....
i dont see him ever using he's dagger... maby for adding sum kinda dmg over time spell (poison-kinda)... but any weapon could do that....
still think he wont be able to use anything else tho... but i hope, hoooope so much...

They most likely use daggers since they do rituals and in sacrafical rituals they use daggers to sacrafice w/e they r sacraficing makes sense to me tho but id like a dark sword too (im sick of staves)

I like the jar of guts. I just hope they keep a good variety of looks and uses to the offhand talismans / fetishes as the zealot passes through the tiers of equipment.
It would be a shame to be stuck using the fancy stuff a higher levels rather than a jar of guts or a shrunken head :(

I would like to see skulls of different creatures.. Maybe you say.. kill a boss or something and you can take his skull or something to that effect.

First off, I love the dried-up stitched-up head of the Warrior Priest among those pics. Also, the whole duel-wielding Zealot thing is mixxed info with the Disciple. DoK can duel-wield, Zealots cant.
