Anyone else disappointed with the classes featured in Dec's newsletter?

I don't understand how two classes that were just recently announced got their class descriptions before the BG which has been anounced for months.


Don't get me wrong, I loved the new Disciple class and its melee healing, but I was seriously expecting some BG loving this month.

Very cruel of them to announce a class and then not give any info on it for 3+ months while releasing info instantly with others.

I don't see how it is cruel. It is very obvious that the Black Guard is simply not done, so they can't show anything yet. They have probably changed some of the mechanics of the career since they showed art of the Black Guard in Leipzig. So again, no it isn't cruel. They will release the information when they are ready to release it, not sooner. It is not done in spite.

Could quite possibly mean the BG mechanic and play style is going to be that much more intricate and detailed. Perhaps not just a plain straight forward dps tank as some people think he is. This could bode well for you blackguard players. After all, its not about how the class is right now, but how it is at release.

Or, this could mean the BG is extremely boring and they dont even need to test it. :D

although it also makes me feel good because i was concerned about the hatred mechanic but now it looks like they are taking their time to make it work right

To add even more salt: On war-europe.com they said Final Darkelf class the Disciple of kain and if you clock that link theres the story about teh Disciples, sorceress and Witch Elves but they don't even mention BGs :(

If you saying this in an RP way then ;) However, if you mean this in a more serious note...you should be better looking for Witch hunters, hammerers and White Lions instead to stain your halberd...otherwise your healers/clothies will stain their weapons with your blood;)

I would much rather them hold the information and improve on it or make changes than give us information and change it later if it's not working out, after we have gotten use to it.

No kidding. As it stands atm everyone has a different idea of what the BG will be. I think if it gets its info it wont be as popular. Which is good.

I just want the info when they're done. I would hate to see a half-hearted attempt made on an awesome career idea. I can wait until they are perfectly ready to show us the brutal glory of the Black Guard career. I don't mind another month or two...or three...
