Has anyone ever compared Critical Heal bonuses to other healing buffs, such as +nn Willpower, to determine which get you the biggest bang for the buck?

I've traditionally gone with stacking up as much WP as possible, and not experimented much with Crit Heal bonuses. I'm wondering if I'm missing the boat, as I see other Shaman out there getting bigger heal numbers than I usually get.

Does anyone have any insight on how to strike a good balance between these (and or other healing buffs)?

Crit and willpower work synergistically, so you have to take into account your current HPS to find which will help more.

+1 Critical heal will increase your average non-crit HPS by .5%
+1 Willpower will increase your average HPS by .2
So if you have 500 non-crit HPS, 1 crit will net you 2.5 HPS, which you would need 12-13 willpower to beat.

You can probably get a decent HPS-mod, or just look at your current healing values.

A couple issues:
Some heals don't follow the 1 Willpower = .2 HPS; especially HoTs.
This ignores crit-based bonuses such as restorative burst.
