What Will You Name Your Sorceress?

Stock and Standard "What will your name your ...." thread. I didn't see one on the Sorc boards so... *POOF* I made one. (they seem to be the craze atm)

I have always liked the name Aranu (don't have a last name yet), and I have had that throughout my other gaming experiences. However, I'm not sure whether it fits in with the Druchii. If anybody has their opinions for me it would be appreciated :mrgreen:

Unfortunately with the 'Disciple' class it won't be such a 'cool' name (like a priest on WoW calling themself Druid or a Tank on CoH calling themselves Blaster) but after 12 odd years being Disciple (and Disciple always being my main character on an MMO) my Sorceress will be that.

Well, I think that it goes without saying that a SORCERESS is a CHICK. ;)

I would've sworn Azrayne seems like a unisex name.

Azrayne has always seemed a fairly masculine name to me, I've never used it for female chars. I have a couple variations on the 'AzrXXXXX' that I use for female characters that sound more feminine.

I don't think it sounds that masculine. However, Its certainly not feminine. Although, I wouldn't mind it for a female. People call their daughters IRL Cameron (etc.), so I don't see it as a far stretch.

Just now read this thread. Gotta say though, people naming wizards or mages Gandalf is such a huge misnomer since the wizards in Tolkien's world weren't human, but were actually angelic beings sent to Middle Earth as a bit of 'divine intervention', that being that they were there to counsel the free peoples to do great deeds and not lead them.

In all my other MMOs I have always named my main character after the high elf character "Eltharion", since he is actually a part of the world this MMO takes place in (and in the opposing faction no less) I'll have to revise it alittle. It's still an elf name though so I suppose I'll choose something similar. Not posting any of my ideas though, selfish as I am :p
