We have a Disc - now what?

Title says it all. We have a Disc. Sure, that's funky. Cool, our characters don't have to walk.

We also know that we will always have a disc, all the time.

However, what does our Disc actually do? Does it allow us go over water? Avoid CD? Have melee abilities? Move faster?

If anyone has any link to what a Disc might be able to do, then please - TELL ME.

from what i have read, it has melee abilities. Soooo...if i were to come over to you with my choppa and start chopping you, your disk would start munching me :p

Any time you are hit by a melee attack, your Disc will lash out and deal a portion of the damage back to the attacker

It's a damage reflect against melee. We'll see if that move is still in by open beta though.

It's not an added feature to your character, so you can go over water, but at the same speed as someone swimming. You can't avoid CD using it. You get DoTs (judging from a skill list I saw a long time ago) that refer to your disk, and you move at the same speed as everyone else.

I actually tried Magus at GC07, and it does have an ekstra "sprint" ability, and a melee charge-damage ability :p

Dno what else it has, since like half of the skills weren't included :p

Okay, if you ask it again I'll say their answers again. It has some melee abilties and possibly other such stuff, and it makes the Magus look diffrent. Done.

It lets you float, making you a better target for all those Engineers, Bright Wizards and Shadow Warriors ^^

Besides that, it does what was said allready, giving you some attacks and skills.

Giving more (newer) Informations would most likely be breaking the NDA for those who could answer that question.
