It would be hilarious but at the same time it would likely garner them so much hate and get them thrashed among the various forum communities. With the way tier 4 rvr is currently they don't want or need more bad publicity.

When I have that problem with any of my other characters, then I'll start to worry about the Slayer having that.....then again it could start just for the fact of it being a Slayer.... o.O

There's only ~1,000 maybe 2,000 people that use the forums. Then there's a few hundred thousand that don't. I don't think they'd lose much, if any significant amount.

People that use the forums = minority. Let this also be a lesson that because a few people agree with you they aren't to be labeled "everyone".

It would be funny... but also a very stupid thing to do. People would raise such a stink I think WAR would lose alot of prospective subscribers... (Sends a bad message about the way they do business) but most people already playing would probably continue to do so. I seriously doubt that a significant portion of WAR's playerbase is hinging their subscriptions on the 'Slayer' class.

And I really hope they come out with a fully realized, unique Slayer class. Not only would I enjoy it, but it may very well bring back some of my friends, as well as convince my Destro buddies to come roll Order. Slayer is potentially the most 'bada$$' class they could put in the game, even cooler then Chosen in looks IMO. Hell, the slayer minis are what originally captured my interest in Warhammer when my dad first brought home an old White Dwarf he had borrowed from a friend asking me if I'd be interested in doing the TT with him.

Nekkid. Mohawks. Fearless. Brutal. Dual Wielding. Rogue-type DPS. Ball of Fury. What more could you possibly want?

I actually agree with the last part of your post. But I also think you're underestimating word of mouth and just how potent it is. After all, back before WAR was even released it was probably the best marketing this game ever got. I wouldn't be surprised if the Slayer hype isn't already infecting half of those "few hundred thousand that don't visit the forums." Still ... that isn't to say I don't get your point. Just sayin'.
