Question:
What is the formula for calculating the # DPS, and # Speed on any given weapon?
In Detail:
I was recently told that the higher speed is on a weapon, the more damage the weapon can do. (Which makes sense)
The reason I ask if anybody knows of a formula, is because there are weapons with higher DPS + lower SPEED, and sometimes items with lower DPS + higher SPEED. Therefore, only a formula will be able to tell me which of the 2 is a more critical stat to have in a weapon.
Understandably, every weapon comes with stats to increase it's class's damage (such as, ballistics and strength). So, obviously, that stat would need to be included in the formula.
Conclusion:
If I am unclear about my question, in any way, please let me know and I will clarify to the best of my abilities.
I have searched, and was not able to find any information about this subject. If there already has been a post about this, please provide a link.
Thanking you in advance
